Chapter 32: Conflicts

He pondered before he had to butt in. "Your Grace, both Estian and I have no idea who is this person you are referring to. Could Your Grace please enlighten us," Sebas said, and just like that, Sebas was also targeted by the duke. However, being a Wizard, Sebas could block off the assaulting aura of the duke. Only the poor Estian was currently suffering.

Duke Calex pursed his lips as he gritted his teeth and his terrifying aura kept surging.

Sebas could see that the duke seemed to be having difficulty in naming that person. Hence, he could only urge the duke as boldly as he can.

"Your Grace, if you won't state that person's name, then, how are we able to know who we are supposed to investigate?" Sebas said as a matter of fact.

These two!

Must I still utter that hateful and despicable name of that person?!

Just thinking about his name could spark an unknown fuse in me!

Duke Calex was already spitting fire. But he knew he still need to speak the detestable name for Sebas and Estian.

But why couldn't they just know right away who exactly I was referring to?!

Don't they know me the best?!

Seems like these two both need some polishing!

If only Duke Calex would realize at the moment that the number of suspicious people around him was already too much to handle for both Sebas and Estian that they could really not possibly and magically figure out right away who among those people the duke was specifically referring to right now.

In the end, both Sebas and Estian didn't have any idea that they would later have to receive a sort of polishing from the duke because of their lack of knowledge.

"Del!" Duke Calex blurted out between his gritted teeth.

Estian and Sebas were both bewildered.

"Your Grace, was my previous reports and information, not enough? Would you like us to further dig in and investigate?" Estian asked with his usual gentle tone. Yet his back was already soaked in a cold sweat.

"That was unexpected. Your Grace, may I ask why there is still a need to further investigate this person?" Sebas asked. He also knew that Estian had already piled up reports and information about that Del. However, he was wondering why the duke wanted to dig further about that person and what the duke wanted to know about that person.

"Must you know the reason why? Just do the drill and get it done as soon as possible," Duke Calex said. End of discussion.

With that, Duke Calex stood from his seat and stormed off, still bearing his stifling and terrifying aura with his hardened expression.

Sebas and Estian were left alone inside the indoor garden.

"Say, the Duchess must have done something thus resulting to this, right?" Sebas asked, finishing his tea.

"Indeed," Estian affirmed.

"Sigh, I thought things are starting to warm up between those two. Now, we are yet to settle down with the matters involving the Mistress of the Blue Ray Wizard Tower, and we still have to deal with the matters of the Duchess," said Sebas with a long sigh. His lazy bones just wanted to take a good and long rest.

The next morning.

Inside the main dining room, exclusive only for the Duke and Duchess, on the long table filled with sumptuous breakfast and fruits of different kinds, only Duke Calex could be seen seated at the head of the table and the duchess was nowhere to be found on the other end.
