??? ??????? Lost Hope (AU)

I hear my alarm go off, then someone's calling my name. It's to early... I don't want to get up, not now... My door slammed open, don't get up.. everything's fine... but something is hitting my stomach, not something... someone... the pain, it hurts.... smile, just smile and act like nothing is happening. That's what mom always says before going somewhere... don't let people find out, or it'll be the end of you.

Quiet... not a sound... smile... look nice... don't slouch!.. be happy!!..

The voices got louder and louder, I began to sweat. I don't like this, I don't like you. I never did, ever since you sent me to camp. I should have ran away while I still had the chance, but I didn't... I couldn't... this wasn't real, it was all a dream...

"Luz...."

That voice, it was familiar. Calm, sweet, caring... everything my mom wasn't. Then who was it? Eda? No... the voice was younger, they sounded like they meant well...
I woke up with a gasp, I was sweating in my sleep. My clothes were soaked, this didn't look nice... I got up and walked to the bathroom with a pair of clothes, I lock the door behind me planning on taking a shower before...
"HI LUZ!!!" The Owl spoke as he had stuck his head through the window and was inches away from me. I let out a loud scream and punched the owl in defense, I didn't mean to, it was just out of pure defense. "Owww!!! That hurt, I was just trying to say hi!... hoot!!" The Owl blurted out before sliding back out the window and leaving me in peace.
I let out a stressful sigh and removed my clothing and taking a shower, it was nice and warm. Like the hug Eda had given me a couple days ago, I felt safe for once in a lifetime. Once I was finally done I walked out of the bathroom with a blue t-shirt and white sleeves, along with ripped skinny jeans. I slipped my shoes on and walked to Eda as the day before she said that we were going to do something today, obviously not saying what.
"So Eda... what are we going to do today?" I ask politely before Eda faced me with staff in hand and King along side her
"We are going to go get my crown!!!" King said, he was obviously excited. And seeing that only made a smile form upon my lips. He was adorable, just like the animals back home.
I nod and look at Eda who had walked out the door without saying a word. I follow.
"Hop on kid, it's gonna be a long flight" Eda said as she patted beside her, she was already on the staff, ready to go.
I get on and off we go, it didn't seem like we were going slow but to Eda this was the slowest she could go without me falling off. Before I know it we are there, but this place didn't look normal. It looked like a jail, and there were monsters screaming and screeching on the inside. That doesn't sound good.....
We sneak in, it was surprisingly easy. But before we know it we walk into a room only to find out it was a trap.
I bang on the door and slammed my body against it, trying to make it open. But nothing happened... then we saw someone walk it, they were big... really big and had a bird mask on, that was odd... but none the less it looked scary...
He wanted Eda, and with countless arguing back and forth I found King's crown which was a crown from the local Burger King back at home, I frowned but if King wanted it so badly he deserved it.
"Kid!" I hear Eda shout as she took her staff and threw it to me, she motioned me to fly away and I knew she was strong enough so I did, taking King with me. I hopped off the staff and let owlbert take King back to the owl house.
"Get the kid!!!" I hear someone shout, it was some of the guards we saw at the jail. Shit I had to get away, and fast. I turned the other way and began running, the one rule Eda told me while flying was not to get caught. I had to listen, I couldn't disappoint her again... I had eventually lost sight of the guards but I had to keep going, I could hear them shout for me.
Then suddenly I bumped into someone, they were small. They had glasses and dark green hair, they were really pretty.
"H-help! You need to hide me! Please!" I begged them, they looked up at me and nodded before pointing to a cauldron.
"Hurry get it! And cover yourself in that purple goo, you'll be like an abomination! When I call for you, you can get up, but make sure to listen to me!" Her voice sounded sweet and genuine. I could trust her. But doing so I hopped in and closed the cover, it was dark. Very dark. I sloppily rubbed the purple goo over my hair, face, clothes. It was gross...
Then I heard loud footsteps that soon went to a stop, people were talking before I heard two words.
"Abomination rise!"
It was the girl, I had to listen to her or I was going to get caught. I quickly thought on how I thought that an abomination would act, it was in a book I read at the owl house. I soon stood up and pushed the lid off of the cauldron, being covered in purple goo I sloppily stood there, this felt dumb but I did look dumb so that didn't help.
"Abomination speak!"
The girl said, this was going to seal the deal. But fuck... what do I say? Fuck, fuck, fuck I'm freaking out!
"My creator is beeeesssstttt!!.." I say in a sluggish voice with a slight word drag out. That sounded horrible... I'm done for...
"Well... nice job with the abomination. Keep up the hard work young lady." The guard said politely and they walked away with the others, once they were out of sight the girl sighed and helped me out of the cauldron
"T-thank you..." I say as I bow a little to be polite.
"No problem, it was nice to feel like I was good at my class" the girl said as she gave a weak smile.
"You aren't good at this class?" I ask as I looked down at her.
"N-no... I'm not good at abominations... I'm more of a plant witch" She said as she knelt down next to a little flower, she drew a circle in the air and a green ray of light radiates before the flower grows and becomes a giant flower.
"Holy shit! How did you do that!?!" I ask as I was amazed by the giant flower that was infront of me.
"What do you mean? I'm a witch, all witches can do magic. Wait..." the girl walked up to me and took a close look at me, with doing so I flinched a bit at the sudden movement. Before hearing the girl gasp, "you're a human! I've never seen a human before!! This is so weird, why are your ears round? Can you do magic?!?"
I flinched some more but looked down at her. "I was born with them? And no? But I had my mentor cast a spell and I found out hot to do a light spell." I grab a piece of paper and draw a light glyph on the paper before taping it and it glowing up in a little ball of light. I watched as the girl's eyes light up, she was amazed. I guess she hasn't seen a glyph before.
"W-well I have to go, school will be starting soon. Bye.." Before the girl could walk away I quickly grabbed her arm.
"Hold on, I'll get you a good grade and I get to see how your school is."
"Really?! Y-you'll do that for me?"
I nod and a little smile formed on my mouth.
"My name's Willow Parks by the way."
"Name's Luz Noceda" I say as I climbed back into the cauldron and sat inside, but peaking out ever so slightly.
As I was being wheeled away to the school it was big, not as big as my old school but still big. I was wheeled up the stairs which seemed impossible but still, it happened. Going past several rooms it was weird, different, cool. I soon came to a stop as I looked at Willow, she was sitting down at her desk. As I watched as several students walked up to the teacher and failed to impress them, they then called on Willow. Almost all the students groaned and knew that Willow was going to fail and give everyone extra homework. Willow was hesitant, she wheeled me up and let out a sigh before looking at me and speaking.
"A-Abomination rise!.."
As soon as Willow spoke I slowly stood up from the cauldron and let out a sluggish groan. I could tell the teacher was impressed, which was surprising.
"Well done Miss Parks! Looks like we have a new top student!" The teacher congratulated Willow, taking off the girl with green hair's star off of her shirt and put it on Willow's. The green haired girl sat there in disbelief, I couldn't help but tell and smile. When I did I could tell the girl was staring at me and she noticed something was off.
I sat back down in my cauldron once Willow told me to. Once class was done she wheeled me to her locker where there was someone a bit taller than Willow. He looked like he was a nice kid but you don't ever know. The kid was holding a magazine full of human stuff.
"Hey Willow! Did you know that humans get these things called fake teeth made out of metal. What do they do with that? Oh! They want their kids to be magnetic!!!" I couldn't help but laugh at the kid being so dumb. "What was that?!" The kid said, before Willow could say anything the kid opened the lid and gasped. "Are you a human!?!?"
"Could you be any fucking louder shit head!?!?" I lash out at him with a frustrated look on my face, with that he looked hurt. He closed the lid and I could hear him mumble.
"She's mean..."
"Only because you budged in on her gus, now come on. It's time for lunch" Willow replied and wheeled me to the cafeteria. I came to a stop as the witch named Gus and Willow were talking. Gus then mentioned me and asked if a wanted a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I gladly accepted and comped down on the sandwich in gus' hand and slid back into the cauldron. Eating it up almost instantly. Willow was worried that the witch now knowing her name is Amity saw. Until there was a loud bang and I could hear the witch Amity yelling before throwing the lid open and grabbing me by the shirt and shaking me.
"WHO ARE YOU?! WHAT ARE YOU?!? WAIT! YOU'RE THAT HUMAN THAT KNOCKED INTO ME A COUPLE DAYS AGO!!! WHAT THE FU-" The Green haired witch yelled before being cut off by a teacher.
"Amity Blight! I knew you were jealous but this is taking it to a next level!" Amity was soon taken away. When lunch ended we went through a couple other classes before Willow was soon asked to see the principal, and taking me with.
Now this wasn't good... once we were brought to the office the principal told Willow to take me out, he nodded. Calling me out, I followed her instructions. Then the principle told Willow to have me lay on the table and have her disect me. She told me to lay on the table and she whispered to me.
"Can humans be disected or no?..."
I shake my head a bit as I was really worried, I didn't want to get hurt. This wasn't going as planned....
But then Gus ran in and yelled for the principal to follow him, doing so the principal followed Gus. He left the room and I sat up and let out a distressed noise, Willow could tell that I was freaking out.
"Come on Luz, let's go and get you out of here before you get hurt!" Willow said as she grabbed my hand and ran with me out the door before being stopped by the green haired girl Amity.
"Oh no, you two aren't going anywhere. Especially not the human!" The angry Witch yelled as she sent more than a dozen abominations our way. I breathe heavily as I let out another distressed noise before watching Willow pull out a little seed from her pocket and used her magic to take out most of them. Some still walked to us as I ran to them, punching a couple and hearing the splatter when I did. It sent shivers down my spine, I kept running before feeling someone grab me by the shirt and pull me back and me landing on the ground. Amity had thrown me back and had me pinned on the ground.
I struggle to break free as I grab her wrists and tried to push her back. I wasn't strong enough like always and I let out a weak noise as tears slightly started to fill my eyes. At that moment Amity could see true and utter fear in Luz's eyes, her grip loosened and Luz threw Amity back and ran as fast as she could out those doors. Amity watched as she felt... Bad?
I run and run before reaching the owl house and seeing Eda standing infront of the door and talking to hooty. I call for Eda and she turns my way before I jump to her and hold onto her shaking, for a while I didn't feel safe... I was scared and having a panic attack, Eda tried her best to calm me down before I passed out due to lack of air.

That was fun while it lasted....
