Because SSoHawk is cute af and I’m tired and love in a mental hospital is apparently the best I’ve got.

[Warning: Smut?]

Silence was something Seamus had always enjoyed. He liked the peace of being able to think clearly with no interruptions and being able to just get lost in himself. It was nice, soothing even. Though he hadn’t expected that the best way to find that silence would be sitting in his room in a mental facility.

It was still nice though, the silence helped him think more clearly, more rationally and he was able to pull himself together. Even though the beds were uncomfortable and everything always had a gross dentist like smell, Seamus liked his lonely little room.

That all changed when the new kid came though. The raven haired kid kept to himself most of the time, never caused trouble. No one knew anything about him except for his name, Kevin. No one even knew why exactly he was in a place like this.

Kevin was assigned to room with Seamus, and he made no comment though Seamus protested rather loudly. It wasn’t that he didn’t like Kevin; it was that he was addicted to the drowning darkness and looming silence that made itself present in his room and Kevin was going to take that from him whether he meant to or not.

It angered him more than anything knowing that the one thing he enjoyed about the dull place was going to be taken from him against his will. Kevin however simply smiled at Seamus, unbothered, sending him a wink before getting up from the plush chairs. He mumbled something about going to “mingle” and left the room.

“So, why are you in this place?” Kevin had asked that night, and Seamus just knew by the tone of his voice that he was only talking because he knew Seamus couldn’t stand it.

“Bipolar disorder and sudden “violent” bursts of anger.” Seamus sneered, rolling his eyes even at the thought of the “conditions” he had been diagnosed with.

“Right.”

“…You?”

“Um… Suicidal tendencies.” Kevin whispered after a moment. He looked down as if expecting some kind of ‘that’s stupid’ or ‘that’s all?’ but silence loomed over them instead, and not the kind Seamus liked.

“Must suck.” Seamus finally managed to utter.

“Has its cons.” Kevin looked up at him with that familiar smile and Seamus slowly understood. There was absolutely no way to tell just how fucked up this kid really was, the grin hid it all as though he was the happiest person alive. Seamus understood why his family felt the need to admit him there.

The two didn’t exchange any other words that night, but it became very obvious very fast that the two were going to end up glued to each other in no time. Kevin, as it turned out, was spectacular at cooing Seamus into a calmer state during any bursts of anger. In return Seamus was Kevin’s shoulder to cry on, his reason not to ram a fork down his throat.

They relied on each other, with all their broken little hearts.

It was a night that wasn’t unfamiliar to the two, Kevin sobbing into Seamus’ chest as he held the boy, allowing Kevin to tire himself out with his tears until he was relaxed and limp against Seamus. There was a sick part of him (likely his bipolar disorder) that loved seeing Kevin so broken and submissive, knowing that without Seamus he was nothing.

But he’d never act off of that, never ever. Even the thought of doing something to harm the raven haired kid made him sick. “Kevin, listen to my voice,” He purred soothingly, rubbing his back. “It’s all gonna be okay, I’m here.”

“I wanna die.” Came the choked response, soon silenced by the kisses Seamus pressed to the boy’s face, neck, shoulder, anywhere he could reach.

“It’ll pass. You’re so strong, you know you are.” Seamus cooed, petting his hair and holding him tightly. Suddenly though, Kevin was pulling him away from his shoulder to look him in the eyes. Blue eyes met the dark brown, teary eyes of Kevin, who sniffled quietly.

“Kiss me,” Kevin murmured, watching Seamus as Seamus watched him. “Please, just once, just kiss me…”

And Seamus did.

He had honestly expected Kevin’s lips to be far less sweet; he expected the kiss to be quick and chaste. It wasn’t. Kevin instantly shot forward, holding Seamus for dear life as their lips melded together so perfectly.

Seamus just couldn’t help himself as they pulled away. He felt an insatiable urge to mark Kevin as his. His tongue dragged down the younger’s neck, smirking ever so slightly at Kevin’s small shiver. “S-Seamus…” Was moaned breathily before Seamus bit down, sucking on the spot.

Clothes were haphazardly removed and bodies were pressed tightly together. Seamus relished in the soft sounds Kevin made as the blond touched him gently. “You know I won’t let you fall,” Seamus whispered as he gently rocked his hips with Kevin, listening closely and absorbing every moan. “I’ll make sure you’re safe and sound…”

Hands gripped Seamus’ shoulders tighter and Kevin leaned up and kissed him, a tiny smile on his face. “Y-yeah,” The boy murmured. “I know…” Seamus felt a smile grow on his face as he allowed his lust to take over; he set an enjoyable pace which eventually sent them both over the edge with each other’s names on their lips.

As they lay in the same bed, tangled up in each other, the only sound heard was Kevin’s soft breathing, Seamus decided he liked this far more than silence.

Idk how to do the smut.
