I'm Not A King || Wilbur Soot

~The next day~

Wilbur was getting ready to visit the Dream team, he brought a mask to hide his face and he was wearing a cape with a hood, he wore more casual clothes to blend in. He walked out of his room and into the massive living room "Mother, father, I will be going now" Wilbur said "Are you sure you don't want any of the guards to take you there?" Kristin asked "I'm sure mother," Wilbur said "Take Sapphire with you so you don't have to walk too far," Philza said drinking his coffee "Alright father," Wilbur said

Wilburs POV

I walked to the royal stables to get my horse Sapphire, I named her Sapphire since it was my favorite stone/diamond. There were many little Sapphires places around her harness so it was easy to tell the difference. Techno also has a horse named Carla, and instead of Sapphires, Carla had Ruby's placed around her harness. 

Sapphire was chilling in her stable, she noticed I was here and got up excitedly "Hey there girl" I said softly as I opened the gate to her stable. Sapphire instantly nuzzles into my hair as I giggled "Were gonna go to a friend's house alright?" I said softly petting her face, she nodded understanding me. I grabbed her rein and guided her out of the stable, I closed the gate to her stable and grabbed a few apples from a barrel, and put them in a pouch on the side of Sapphires saddle

I hopped on her saddle and guided her out of the stables and headed to the castle gates, I put on my hood as the guards opened the castle gates for me. I and Sapphire headed out towards Town

Puffy lived on the outskirts of town so I needed to go through town to get to her house, I made it to town and rode a bit faster so no one gets way too suspicious. I made it out of town and saw Puffy's house in the distance, I made it to her house to see Sapnap and George talking outside

"Hey, Wilbur!" Sapnap yelled waving his hand noticing me, George looked back and waved his hand. Sapphire soon slowed down and stopped, I got off and grabbed an apple from her pouch and gave it to her "Good girl" I said softly caressing her face

"Hey Sapphire," George says running over to us, "Where's Dream?" I asked guiding Sapphire to the stables Puffy owned. "He's inside, " Sapnap said opening the gate to the extra stable, I guided Sapphire in and closed the gate. "Well we better get inside and discuss some stuff" I said walking towards the house, Sapnap opened the door and yelled "Puffy! Wilburs here!" "Welcome, Wilbur! Make yourself at home!" I hear Puffy yell from the living room 

I head to the living room to see Dream and Puffy seated on the couch, "Hey man! Sit down with us" Dream says. Me, George, and Sapnap all sit down and start the discussion 

"So Dream told me that you guys needed to discuss something with me?" Puffy said "Yes and just so you know this is an important matter" I said "Okay..." Puffy says "Dream, would you mind?" I said, Dream sighed "Were planning on running away"

Puffy's eyes widened "W-What?" Puffy stuttered out "Were going to run far away from the kingdom with Wilbur" Dream said sighing "But why?" Puffy said on the verge of tears "I've decided to run away so I can avoid being crowned king, and those 3 decided to join me" I said "I truly understand, but how long are you guys planning on leaving?" Puffy asked wiping her tears away "A few years, maybe more" I said "I understand, and I can help" Puffy says letting go of Wilbur

"That's good to hear, now I need your help with our covers. You can't tell anyone about this, we're leaving in a week. We're all bringing our horses along with other stuff" I said "But what if your family realizes your gone?" Sapnap asked "They're probably gonna go to Puffy, so I need you to act like you never knew I ran" I replied, Puffy nodded. "How are you gonna get out of the castle?" Dream asked "I have a plan up my sleeve" I smirked "Alright, then it's settled. We're gonna meet here at 11 PM, Saturday. so be ready" I said "We're leaving at night?!" Sapnap yelled "No we're not. I'm gonna have to stay here for the night so we can go early in the morning" I said "You're always welcome to stay here" Puffy said
