I'm Not A King || Wilbur Soot

"My lord, it has been a week and we still can't find him"

"Are you sure you've checked everywhere?"

"We're sure my lord"

"Check other kingdoms, he has to be there"

"Of course sir"

"Hey Nikki?" Wilbur called "Yes? What do you need?" Nikki asked "I was thinking, could I maybe sort of change my identity?" Wilbur asks "How do you mean?" Nikki asked "Well, since I'm gone. My kingdom is probably gonna be looking for me so I was thinking of changing my identity so they don't find me" Wilbur explained

"Oh sure we can do that!" Nikki exclaims "Thanks Nikki" Wilbur smiled

"I was thinking of changing my name last name. You guys can still call me by my real name" Wilbur says "Alright then, I have 1 in mind. What about Wilbur Soot?" Nikki says "That's perfect! Now nobodys gonna know" Wilbur exclaims

"Wilbur, you may not have said it but I know there's another reason you ran. What is it?" Nikki softly asks, Wilburs smile turned into a frown, he looks down and sighs

"Well, it all started when me and my father got into a fight" Wilbur stated

-Flashback-

"Dad I already told you! I don't want to become a stupid king!" A 9 year old Wilbur yelled

"How dare you! You have no other choice! You have to for the sake of our kingdom!" Philza yelled back

"I want to become a musician dad! Not a king! Let Techno take my place instead!" Wilbur cried

"You can't do that! Its against the family tradition!" Philza yelled

"I love music and I'm not letting you take that away from me! I can pick what I want to be and I'm not a king!" Wilbur yelled

Philza was furious. Techno was out with Sam and Kristin was visiting another kingdom

"My son will not be some stupid musician! I raised you to be what you dreamed of! Not some useless crap" Philza yelled

"Its your dream! Not mine! Its my life and I control it!" Wilbur cried

*Slap*

Wilbur looked at his father holding his right cheek, his father had slapped him.

"You're becoming a king and that is final. Get out of my sight. End of conversation" Philza said coldly turning his back and left

Wilbur was shocked. His own father had just slapped him. Wilbur ran to his room crying, he locked himself in his bathroom and cried

-End Of Flashback-

"And well, that's why" Wilbur said "Oh my god Will, I'm so sorry for you" Nikki said softly. "Its fine Nikki, it was years ago" Wilbur softly smiled

"Wanna come with me to my bakery?" Nikki asked trying to lighten up the mood "You have a bakery?" Wilbur asked looking up "I sure do! Wanna come and check it out?" Nikki offered "Sure" Wilbur said

And with that, Nikki and Wilbur made their way to Nikki's bakery. The Dream team were no where to be seen, probably in the forest dying or something

Wilbur and Nikki arrived at the cafè and Wilbur looked up. 'Raindrop cafè' was the name. Nikki opened the door to her cafè to see 1 of her employees setting up the tables. "Good morning Jack" Nikki greeted

"Morning Nikki, who's this?" Jack asked pointing to Wilbur. "This is Wilbur Soot, he and his friends asked if they could stay and of course I allowed them" Nikki said heading to the back "I swear you are way to kind" Jack joked "I know, I know" Nikki laughed

"Wilbur, this is Jack" Nikki said "Um, hi" Wilbur said softly "Hey there dude!" Jack greeted. Wilbur looked around as Jack and Nikki talk about their menu or something

The place had fairy lights placed around the ceiling, some flower pots in certain areas, flowers connected to strings stuck on the ceiling, and some ocean wallpaper. I guess her theme is nature

Wilbur, Nikki, and Jack spent their time talking at the cafè. The Dream team still nowhere to be found, Nikki left a sticky-note at home so if they come back they'll know where to find them. 'Hm, I wonder what's happening at the castle now' Wilbur thought

"Sir, we found out that the prince's royal horse Sapphire is also missing"

"His horse too?! Search everywhere for him and his horse"

"But sir, we also found out that the castle's emergency exit gate was opened"

"So that's how huh? Very smart. Look everywhere, and I mean everywhere"

"O-Of course sir"

"Good"

"Hey Wilbur, time to close up for the day. Have you seen the other 3?" Niki asked "I haven't seen them all day but knowing them they were probably doing something dumb" Wilbur said, Nikki laughed and the 2 went home

Nikki opened the door to her house to see Dream chasing Sapnap around the living room and George asleep on the couch

"What in the world is going on here" Nikki says gaining the attention on Dream and Sapnap. "Well, Sapnap here was flirting with George" Dream spat "I wasn't flirting! I told you I was telling him something!" Sapnap said

"Okay okay, everyone get ready for dinner. Someone wake George up" Nikki said going to the kitchen

Nikki went to cook dinner meanwhile the 3 were left to wake George up, and 1 thing they know about George is that he can sleep through anything

"GEORGEEEE WAKE UPPPP" Sapnap yelled shaking George, and he was still asleep. Wow. "Georgee wake uppp, its time for dinnerrrr" Wilbur said softly shaking him but he was still asleep

"Gogy time to wake up, its time for dinner" Dream says, surprisingly George woke up. The other 2 in the room were dumbfounded and lowkey shipping them

George sat up and Zuko jumped on him startling him a bit, the 4 talked and played with the kittens waiting for Nikki to finish dinner

"Dinners ready!" Nikki yelled from the kitchen, the 4 boys ran to the dining room and ate their dinner talking about their day.

Wilbur had a relieved feeling but he didn't know why. Was changing his last name a good idea?

Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't

But I mean, who knows?

But let's just say he was almost caught, if it wasn't for his last name

Wilbur knew, since no one will suspect him.

He can be a New Person
