Crushes | Enhypen (Maknae Line) x Reader

Btw in the last chapter, the two people I was talking about were Sunoo and Jungwon. Niki doesn't eat with them or know most of them since they have a different lunch time.

Basically JHS students eat at the same time while SHS and some college students (based on class) mostly spend lunch together. And Niki only knew Jake from his female classmates.

Never in my life would I imagine having this conversation with someone I admire. And how should I even respond to something like this? I need someone to save me pleasee!

I stared at nothing, not knowing if I should take it as a joke or I should just keep my mouth shut. I slowly glanced at him and saw him already staring at me as if waiting to see my reaction. Based on his smile, I could tell that I was one of those cartoon characters the went read when they were angry or embarrassed. 

" W-well...I-I-"

I couldn't find the right words to use. LIKE I KNEW WHAT TO SAY.

He started laughing and going wild beside me. Suddenly, he reminded me of Hyejin unnie who just one week ago was dying on my bedroom floor by being dragged around by me. Well minus the dragging part.

I hit his arm, already understanding that he was joking and huffed.

" You're so flustered huh noona? HAHAHA, you should have seen how red you were "

He continued his teasing a little longer before I interrupted him.

" Yeah yeah whatever. "

I stood up and dusted the dirt off my pants. He was now laying on the ground already calmed down a bit, but still trying to catch his breathe.

" So all that was just you being a moody teenager? "

I was sort off annoyed. If he was just being moody and had the idea to tease me to lighten up, well I take back all my thoughts of him being more than just a prankster.

" Who said I was just being moody? What if I was serious but just found your reaction amusing? "

He started to get up from his spot and went to where I stood. I couldn't look at him in the eye right now. 

" Maybe noona, it's you who has a crush on me hmm? "

I still remained where I stood. I didn't want it to be obvious  that I actually have feelings for the boy. I have to remain calm and unfazed to not get any further suspicion.

" What are you talking about you kid!"

Yep that was calmed and unfazed, good job self~~

I started walking walking away and grab my things to in an attempt to leave. But he blocked the only exit we have up here.

" Where are you going noona? We still have practice. "

" I'm not in the mood to be playing your games Niki. I've been taking this practice seriously from the start but you have been nothing but a moody prankster. "

I saw how his faced faltered for a second before he came up right in front of me and grabbed my shoulders and brought me close to his face. To the point that I could feel his breathe on my face.

I stared in his eyes but I couldn't understand the emotions that were dancing in them. Before he could even speak a person knocked on the door and came in.

We saw Jake who was with Sunghoon oppa. They seemed to be concerned not knowing the the boy in front of me was and the situation we were in.

He let me go and from my perspective, I could see him glaring at Jake slightly. I thought since the two arrived the atmosphere would have lighten up a little but I guess not.
