Crushes | Enhypen (Maknae Line) x Reader

" A-a d-date? You want to go on a d-date? "

I stared at the boy with my mouth wide and opened. I sweated nervously not knowing whether or not he was serious. 

I don't wanna assume.

" J-jungwon.. " I tired to talk but due to my nervousness, I was only able to call his name.

He smiled at me and held my hands. I could feel the warmth of his hands on my cold and a lil sweaty one as he gently rubbed his thumb on the back of my palm.

" Y/N? " he tried to call me out of my trance.

" Oh-um.. "

" Do you want to go on a date? With me? " He whispered the last part, but due to our close proximity. I could tell he was nervous.

" Well, " I was hesitating to continue. " Sure. "

His smile grew bigger and his dimples fully shown.

" Really?! YES! Thank you Y/N " He got a little too excited and hugged me.

He let go and said that he will text me the details and that we will go tomorrow while the smile on his face never faded. I nodded and told him I would leave and I left the rooftop.

Once I was out of his gaze, I started jumping around and silently squealed. 

I can't believe my crush just asked me out!!

I did one little dance before leaving for the quad. I don't want anyone catching me dancing like that.

Eventually, I arrived at the quad and sat down on one of the available benches. I noticed that people were still going around and looking for my friends. Unbeknownst to them, they  are walking around in their Rilakumma costumes.

I checked the time and it was only 2:30pm. I still have 30 minutes till I meet with Soobin. But I could see a tall figures standing near me. They were Heeseung friends.

I took a glance and saw Soobin looking stressed? It seems like the boys were trying to comfort him but even from a long distance, I could tell his hands were still shaking.

I got a little worried and message him. Of course I won't approach them, my confidence has its own limit y'know?

Me

Hey! Are we still meeting later?

I saw him took out his phone and almost dropped it. But seeing that he was typing, made me know he saw my message.

Soobin

Yeah

Or are you planning on doing something else?

Me

Oh no! I was just making sure. 

I'll see you later then?

I put my phone down and sighed. At least whatever was going on seems to have died down a little. I glanced to their direction once again and saw him looking worse.

I stood up and started walking towards the science club booth.

I'll just ask him about it later

3pm came and I started walking around looking for the older boy. Eventually, I saw them still on the same area and went towards them. They didn't seem to notice my presence so I decided to give them a little scare.
