Chapter 8

" Who's he? " 

" Did we interrupt something? "

They asked at the same time. With Jake asking the former and Sunghoon oppa asking the latter.

" Guys he's Niki, my friend and clubmate. "

I patted Niki on the back and introduced the two to him. 

" So we didn't interrupt anything or.. "

I didn't know what to answer. Maybe Niki has something more to say or was about to apolo-

" Nothing. You didn't interrupt anything hyung. Don't worry. "

Jake invited me to go home with them and I agreed. They headed down first while I stayed behind a little.

" Maybe we can continue on Wed- "

" What you said earlier wasn't true. I wasn't pranking you because of whatever reason. Nor do I have a reason not to like you noona. "

And with those words he also headed down.

" So what were you two talking about? "

Jake asked as he and Sunghoon oppa walked beside me. Sunghoon oppa looked curious as well but I had no intention of sharing. 

I have to save this fangirling at home.

" It was nothinggg... anyways, you two close now? "

I wanted to change the topic to avoid getting flustered  again from just remembering the conversation. Like I said, I'll save it for later.

" Oh yeah! Most of our classes are the same and during our classed after lunch we just clicked! " 

Sunghoon oppa continued to talk about how they were basically soulmates, then Jake told me about how much they got along in one day.

I felt happy for Jake since he was able to  make new friends. He honestly deserves them and wouldn't new friendships mean a good start to his school year?

We arrived at my house and said goodbyes. I entered and greeted my parents and siblings who were all minding their own business in the living room.

I went to the bathroom and started my bath. The conversation I had with NIki popped up again, but this time I knew it was safe to fangirl.

" Don't tell me you have a crush on me~~ "

" What if I do noona? "

" Who said I was just being moody? What if I was serious but just found your reaction amusing? "

" I'm not in the mood to be playing your games Niki. I've been taking this practice seriously from the start but you have been nothing but a moody prankster. "

I was already squeeling while rubbing shampoo on my scalp. I can't help it. Based on his last words, the message I got from them were that he might like me as well.

I was jumping around and dancing. I could tell that my family were fed up with it cause the next thing I knew was that there was banging on my door and my sisters telling me to shut up.

I finished bathing and went to my room and put my pajamas on. Then went to the living room with a dress and my embroidery kit in hand and sat on the sofa where my Aera was watching anime. She seems to be watching Yumerio Patissiere. And here I thought that she was upset with the season 2.
