Spook 43 - Daydream P.3

"(Y/n)-chan! We heard you signed up to help with pool cleaning!" A student said.

"I did. Is something wrong with that?" (Y/n) asked.

"Tsukasa-kun is upset because he didn't volunteer, he thinks you like Minamoto-kun." The student explained.

"Why would I like Kou-kun?" (Y/n) nervously answered. "I like Tsukasa-kun, I just volunteered to help clean the pool."

"Well Minamoto-kun is cleaning the pool too!" The student told her.

"Is that so? How wonderful." (Y/n) smiled.

"(Y/n)-chan, let's go, we have to help clean the pool soon." Kou called.

"Coming! Did you bring spare clothes?" (Y/n) asked as she jogged up to him.

"Yeah, why?" Kou asked, the two friends were now walking down to the lockers.

"I forgot to bring a shirt, I'm sorry.." (Y/n) apologized.

"I have an extra shirt if you want." Kou offered.

"Thank you Kou-kun!" (Y/n) hugged the male. He handed her the shirt and she walked away to change.

Kou and (Y/n) walked into the pool area side by side, (Y/n) and Yashiro made eye contact.

"Yashiro-chan!" (Y/n) yelled, she raced over to Yashiro and gave her a hug.

"(Y/n)-chan!" Yashiro hugged back. Yashiro noticed Kou. "Kou-kun!"

"Senpai!" Kou ran over and grasped Yashiro's hand. (Y/n) wiggled her way out of her hug with Yashiro and the three squatted down and began whispering.

"Hanako-kun is a spirit, right.!?" Yashiro whispered.

"Mitsuba is a spirit, right.!?" Kou whispered.

"Tsukasa is a spirit, right..?" (Y/n) added on.

"It's weird! Everyone thinks Hanako-kun is their classmate.." Yashiro explained.

"Same with Mitsuba.."

"And Tsukasa.."

"But still, what if somehow we're the ones who aren't normal?" Kou questioned.

"Eh?" Yashiro let out a noise of confusion.

"No it's just that, really he just seems so much like a normal student. Maybe this really is how it was from the start, maybe it's better." Kou said.

"Kou-kun?" Yashiro said.

The three were interrupted by water getting poured on them, well except (Y/n). Amane poured a bucket of water on Kou and sprayed Yashiro with a water gun.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Kou yelled.

"C-cold water." Yashiro whined.

(Y/n) turned around. "Amane-kun?" (Y/n) questioned.

"You're soaked." Amane said to Yashiro and Kou. "Hi (Y/n)-chan!" Amane smiled.

"EEAAHHH! I'M GONNA TURN INTO A FISH!" Yashiro yelled.

"Senpai!" Kou yelled.

"Huh?" Yashiro looked at her hand to see no scales. "My skin got wet but there's absolutely no scales."
