"I hate you, I hate you, I hate you, but I was just kidding myself."
Hitoshi Shinso finally knows what he's gonna be. He's going to be a great hero (like Eraserhead) after going to UA, make good money, and marry a great guy. So why does everything...

~~HITOSHI POV~~
"Mew?~" I give a tired hum to my cat as she swats at my hair while I sleep. "Not now, Cerberus." I grumble as I turn over, her simply hopping over and going to hitting my nose with her paw. "Hitoshi, come on honey, we gotta get you to school." My mom's cheerful voice says as she pokes the side of my head. "Do I have to? It sucks taking lame-ass general classes." I state while grabbing my pillow and covering my head. "Come on, others who purposely tried to get into those classes would be offended by that." "And?" I reply as she takes my pillow while Cerberus sits on my chest. "Why should I care what they think? I only applied for if I somehow didn't get in the hero course." And thanks to Birdbrain I'm stuck in there. I think a bit annoyedly towards the (h/c) haired girl. "I bet it's not that bad. There's got to be a few people at UA that you enjoy being around." My mom says as she tosses me my uniform as I sit up after putting the black cat to the side. "It's not like I'm going to try and make friends, Mom. I need to work on training and winning the festival to be able to transfer to the hero course." I state with a shake of my head as I go into my bathroom. "That's all I care about." "What about one friend? I don't want you alone again." "I don't need friends right now. Besides, I have Cerberus and she's a good friend who's never left me." "Hitoshi, even that sounds a bit depressing to me." I could make friends if I wanted to. I think as I walk through the gates of UA, a few crumbles remaining from the reporters incident yesterday. I just don't want to right now, that's it. "SHINSO!" Shit. I think as I recognize the familiar voice. Nope, nope, nope- "Good morning, Shinso!" "Son of-" I stumble as the girl lands in front of me, her white wings folding to her back as she smiles. "What do you want, Takami?" I ask with an annoyed look as I walk around her. "Can't I say hi to you?" Takami asks, a strand of (h/c) hair falling in her face. "I don't trust that that's all you want." I claim, making her smile. "Okay, okay, you got me." She says with a smile as she fiddles with a few silver rings on her fingers with chains attached to a bracelet on both hands. "I have a proposition." She states and stops when I move to a corner to be out of the way. "With what?" I ask as I give her a slight glare. "We train together to prepare for-" "Not happening, Birdbrain." "Wait, wait, wait, hear me out!" She pleads as she pulls me back to face her with a few of her feathers. I give an annoyed growl at her before crossing my arms. "You, me, we train on what you need to work on and you get stronger so that you can-" "Great plan, yes. But there's only one thing," I start before glaring at her. "I don't need help. I don't need anyone's help. Especially if it's your help. You could not pay me to train with you. I could be assigned to train with you and I'd rather train with myself and get a bad grade then train with you." I state to her as I walk towards her, making her step back until her wings and back are pressed against the wall. "Do you understand?" I ask while looking into her (e/c) eyes. Takami gives a small nod as she looks at me. "Alrighty." She says after taking a small breath. "I won't bug you about it again." She states as she looks at me. "Good." I say to her as I step back, feeling a bit guilty as her wings droop a bit. "Have a nice day, Shinso. I hope it's a good one to you." The (h/c) haired girl says with a soft smile towards me before walking away, a few feathers slowly following her with her schoolbag. I watch her closely before noticing her hit her thigh with a fist a few times before shaking her head harshly. Was I too harsh? I think a bit worriedly as I take a step towards where the sidekick went. No. I think as my brows knit together as I think. She'll know that I don't want to be her friend. I think before hesitantly turning towards the direction of the general studies departments. She'll be better off without getting to know me. I'll just hold her back.
