Y/N and Adam walked over to the Garza's the next morning. Y/N opened the door quietly, only to find Albert and Kyle talking to each other on the couch. Adam stood next to Y/N, who was frozen. He looked at him, then at Kyle. Kyle was twirling his very short hair as he talked to Albert. He smiled, laughed, and everything in between. He seemed to be enjoying himself. Oh no, thought Y/N. It's happening.

Albert looked up to see the two, and Y/N immediately raced up the stairs. "C'mon, Adam!" he said and raced down the hall. He sprinted into the bathroom and closed the door, his back against the wall, tears making his soft cheeks sticky. He dug his palms into his eyes and sobbed quietly. Why must Kyle do this? Why must he ruin my life? Y/N just didn't understand. It made zero sense.

:downstairs:

"Well, I'm going to go do some shopping. Care to come?" Kyle smiled. Innocent, deceiving.

"Nah, I'm babysitting."

"Okay, pretty boy," he tapped his nose and was off.

Albert, bewildered and mind spinning, went up the stairs to find Adam and Kira battling with light sabers and Zander laughing in the corner as Danny sneak-attacked Kira. Y/N was no where to be found.

"Where's Y/N?" Albert said, worried.

"Oh, he's in the bathroom." Zander shouted over the laughing of Adam and the shrieking of Kira.

Albert went to the bathroom door and put his ear to it, knocking softly. "Y/N?"

No answer.

He listened and heard small, fast sobs. "Y/N!" He tried the door, but it was locked. Even though he knew trying again wouldn't magically unlock it, he rattled it. And when that obviously didn't work, he dug in his pocket for a coin and turned the lock on the door. He opened it and went inside to find Y/N on the ground.

"Hey," he whispered soothingly, "what's wrong?" He put a hand on his arm.

"Go away!" Y/N drew his arm back immediately.

Albert looked very surprised. "Y/N! Calm down," he moved his hand to his forehead.

"Leave me alone!" he shooed him away, "Go!" another sob let out.

"Y/N..."

He reluctantly stood as feet pounding were heard from the stairs.

"It's snowing cats and dogs or there!" Kyle laughed. "Hello," he said as he went to kiss Albert's cheek.

Albert pushed passed him. "I'm going to check on the kids," he added, exasperated.

"How's the work going?" Kyle said as he lowered, a smirk on his face.

"Why are you making me do this? I love him, and he loves me,"

"Honey, he doesn't love you." he smiled.

"You're just a placeholder."
