Noah's New "Friend"

Noah's Pov

I woke freezing I sat up and I grabbed my blankets.

'Leo' I thought as I laid back down.

I quickly got up "Leo!" I yelled.

He wasn't on my bed it's to cold for him to be by himself.

His body can't produce enough heat to keep him alive if its this cold.

I looked under my bed he wasn't there.

I saw a lump in my pillow case.

I took off the case and there he was curled into a little ball he was unconscious.

I held him up to my mouth I breathed on him to keep him warm as I went through the house looking for the hot hands/hand warmers.

I found them in the kitchen drawer.

I shook the hot hand until it heated up.

I laid Leo on top of the warm surface.

I went up to my room and I laid on my bed and covered myself in blankets.

"Whys it so cold" I heard Leo asked.

"thank god" I said as he woke up.

"the power is off so the heating is down" I said as I held him in a firm fist to transfer my body heat to him.

I held him close to my chest as I went to put more clothes on.

I put on 4 pairs of socks and 2 sweatshirts.

I grabbed Leo's bag of clothes and I gave him his red hoodie and 2 pairs of pants.

He put them on.

I picked him up and I held him as I walked down stairs.

I went into the closet to get winter gloves.

I put on a pair and I took one more glove out.

"climb into it" I said as I held it open for him.

He climbed in his legs in the middle finger part.

I held onto the glove as I walked outside.

The school was open we were supposed to be there 2 hours ago but that's the least of our problems.

All we needed was the warmth of the school building.

When we got there I went inside and to the changing room because no one should be in there at this time.

I went in and sat done on the bench.

I opened the glove and I helped Leo out he sat down on my palm his legs dangling off the side of my hand

"Why are we in the changing room?" he asked.

"So we won't get in trouble for being late" I said as I laid down on the bench.

"ok what are we going to do now because we can't just go into class then if you don't want to get in trouble and we can't stay here there's no food, and we need to get a job or something because we have no food at home" he said as he walked up and down the bench.

"We can get food when the lunch bell rings, and I can get a part time job at the gas station" I said as I took out my phone.

It was dead so I put it back.

"Sit down please you shouldn't be walking so much, the doctor said you shouldn't walk unless you have to" I said but he continued to walk back and forth.

"Leo" I said after a couple of seconds.

"Yea" he said as he continued to walk back and forth.

"Did you hear me?" I asked.
