“Isn't it time for you to produce an heir, Sultan?” I looked at Lisa as I scratch my nape, unable to response.

“As much as I want to have a kid now, I don't think my wife is ready yet. She might not take it once she gave birth especially the kid has my blood and Mina was just an ordinary girl, I'm afraid something wrong may happen to her.” I softly explained, I'm really scared that Mina can't take it.

I rather not have an heir than losing her.

“Your Majesty, you must have an heir for your throne in case something happens. We do not want the past to repeat itself again.” I leaned my back on the chair as I tap my fingers on the table and looked out the window.

I slicked my hair back before drinking some water, frustrated at them pressuring me to have a child as soon as possible. I was about to stand up when someone suddenly barged in the hut where we mostly held the meetings.

I furrowed my eyebrows when I saw how worried he was and tired from running, trying to find me. I stood up and asked him what's wrong, he panted first and spoke.

“Y-your wife fainted--” I didn't let him finish and storm out the hut, running back to my home while cussing under my breath.

I didn't hesitate to barged in the hut which startled them, my clothes were messy as well as my hair due to the wind but I didn't care, all I want was to know if she's okay.

“What happened to her?” I asked worriedly as I walked towards her and sat on the enough space on her side.

The babaylan wipe her hands on the towel and spoke, “Nothing serious. She just fainted due to stress and exhaustion, I suggest you to not let her get tired in the next days because...” I raised a brow as I held her hand tightly.

She take a deep breath which confused me, “She might be pregnant.” My mouth agape as my eyes widen, “WHAT?!” I accidentally said loudly but quickly slapped my hand to my mouth, afraid to wake Mina up.

“We're still not sure but we'll look after her for the next few days. For now, It will be better if the ritual will be held as soon as possible.” She said and I nodded before averting my gaze to Mina who's resting peacefully.

We chatted for a while about Mina's condition and they will come back here tomorrow to check up on her, I bid my goodbye to them and bowed for their work before going back to our room where Mina was resting.

I walked over to the table and sat down before grabbing the quill and dipping the tip on the ink and slowly write down what happened today.

“A new thing came by today along with the explorer that my father personally picked before named Lisa, I do not know if I should trust her or not as she was also one of the elders in this island.”

I finished the letter with a semicolon since I'll add some more later before I put it inside a metal case, “Ugh...” I furrowed my eyebrows as I looked up, seeing Mina pulled herself up to sit.

I quickly stood up and walked over to her, grabbing a glass of water and handed it to her which she drank in one gulp. “Hey, are you okay?” I softly asked.

“Just having a headache.” She replied which made me worried, “The guards was quick enough to spot you before you fainted and the babaylan check you up earlier.” I grabbed her hand.

“Can I ask you something?” She looked at me and hummed in response, I took a deep breath before I spoke, “When did the last time we had sex? Did I cum inside you?” I asked.
