"Here you go," I said, passing a pastry with strawberry filling to our last customer of the day. She had accidentaly burned her palm.

After closing up shop, Julieta dismissed us and reminded Camilo to be home before curfew. Then she walked off, leaving us alone.

"Allow me to escort you home?" Offered Camilo.

"Are you sure?"

"Of course!" He said, grinning from ear to ear. "Want to get to you better, friend."

I laughed at his empasise on the word friend. He was teasin me about earlier. "Okay then," I decided. I told him where I lived, gesturing for Camilo to follow me. I trusted him. But the boy seemed to loose me every few minutes. He was very popular with the kids.

"We're never going to get there," I sighed dramatically as Camilo stopped for what felt like the millionth time.

"Camilo!" Cried one of the kids. "Can you turn into me again?"

Camilo was suddenly two feet shorter. "Can't disappoint the fans, Y/n."

I squinted my eyes at him and turned around. "I'm just going to go myself." I waved goodbye and walked off.

"Sorry little guys, gotta go!" I heard him say as he ran after me.

I turned to him and crossed my arms. "There you are!" I grabbed his hand. "Not going anywhere anymore!"

Camilo didn't give a witty response like he had all day, causing me to turn around.

"Woah, Camilo! Are you alright? Am I squeezing your hand too hard?"

His face was as red as Isabella's roses.

"I-I'm fine," he stammered, pulling his hand away. "C'mon let's go!"

He walked off. In the opposite direction.

"Actually, my house is that way-"

"Yup!" Camilo corrected himself, marching towards the direction I pointed to. "Let's go!"
