„I- ehem I wanted to talk with you in peace, I heard about what is happening and I wanted to help both sides or maybe just listening what your side of the story is and-"

„You know nothing about what is happening here, NOTHING, my people are dying because the humans are burning our homes and killing us!!! Even the forest itself is not growing like it did before and for what?! their stupid own egoistic desires. Mortals never think about their actions, they just come and destroy, claiming everything but when everything goes havoc they blame anyone else for their own mistakes!" 

The guardians voice echoed through the forest making the wind grow around the area. The lord of geo waited until the forest calmed down again. He then approached her and pointed with his hand on the ground, signalising her to sit beside him.

„I'm sorry to disappoint  you but your people aren't as innocent as you claim, we fight demon like spirits almost every night, they are harming villages and poisoning the land, what are you expecting us to do?''

The guardian chuckle and said:„ So why even come here and talk, we will not gonna find any solution, humans, adepti, spirits and gods will never live together in peace.''

,,Lucky for you, i'm the god of contracts we can come up with a treaty as you as the representative of the god of forest, what do you think?''
said the young lord while stretching his hand out for her.

She looked at him and stood up turning around:,, I-...No sorry I can't, after all what is happening i don't even know if I could trust you, hmpf, I know you, Lord of Geo or Warrior god Rex Lapis, you kill first and then ask questions they say, not interested in other peoples worries unless it benefits your own desire.''

With that the almighty Lord of Geo stood up facing now her back with crossed arms, thinking how can he gain her trust so he could help her. The idea struck him like lightning
,, I see, then I will just stay here and wait until you can trust me, woman.''

,,It's Y/N by the way.''

,,Pardon?''

''My name is Y/N, so please quit calling me only ''woman'', Lord of pebble.''

,,Alright, then Y/N I will gain your trust just see."
,,Do whatever makes you better sleep at night I don't care.'' As soon as she spoke those words, she vanished leaving nothing but leafs.

Time Skip

Some days passed as Rex Lapis stayed there. He studied the forest and the spirits in it, some animals even starting to get used to his presence, he wouldnt admit it but he loved how quiet and beautiful it is here. Its something new then just kill everything he sees and walking from battle to battle seeing all those bodies.

Night came soon and the moon high in the sky. Suddenly he hears rustle nearby, Rex Lapis makes his way to the noises and sees a wounded deer on the floor groaning in pain. He kneeled beside the deer and starts to strokes its head.

,,I know it must hurt and you're scared but don't worry I'll stay here, you're not alone.''

After the deers last breath Rex Lapis moved on and walked for a while until he heard a waterfall.

,,Maybe I should take a bath, the waterfall will also give me a good massage...'' As soon as he started to see the waterfall he noticed someone already there, someone he's familiar. A now naked y/n was entering the water until only her shoulders were visible. The young lord blushed a little, watching her carefully in the distance. After he woke up from his little trance he left, not wanting to be caught in any way.

,,Hm, maybe I should go and find Rex Lapis, I heard he did a really good job in the past few days and earlier i saw he even gave a dying deer spirit comfort, perhaps I was to harsh he really wants to help both sides. I'll go find him.'' Y/N swims to the edge of the water and climbs up, put on her cloths and moving on to find the young lord.

Still with wet hair y/n was hopping from branch to branch trying to find the Lord of Geo, wondering if he left while the wind guided her.

,,Hm now that i've been here quite a time I wonder..-''

,,Rex Lapis?''

,,Now now, look who is showing up, long time no see. Look I still will not leave, so you bette-'

',,I believe you... truly, even if you still are a stoned minded brute, you really want to understand us and our problems better. So I wanna hear what you have to say and ohh by the way, next time you watch me taking a bath again I will kill you in your sleep :)'' said Y/N smiling.

,,Alright, alright or maybe I'll just join you next time...
calm down i'm just joking. I was too long absent and need to return and have a talk with some of my Adepti but i Promise you I will come back and visit you as much as I can because we still need to figure out an agreement or a contract."

„Ok Rex Lapis."

„Oh and please just call me Morax there's no need of formalities."

Time skip the next day

Morax entered his region and was surprised not seeing any adepti until he hears wings flatter

.„So you decided to finally come back Rex Lapis where have you been did you finally talked with the forest god?"

„No I didn't Cloud Retainer but I talked with the guardian Y/n and she agreed to form a contract with me. We still didn't discussed the conditions that's why I need to visit her on some days to form the contract."

The Lord of geo leaned against the wall beside him thinking about a certain person.

„Rex do you really are feeling well? Because you seem much more calmer then before.."

„Yes I am fine thank you, no need to worry."

„Good, i'm needed somewhere else right now." Cloud Retainer makes her way into the sky leaving Morax all by himself wondering if he's ever going to meet the god of the forest someday.
