,I don't want to admit it but i think Y/n's right, I really improved my strength and can control my anger better but i still feel like it's not enough for what i've done in the past....'

Y/n saw that Xiao was in his thoughts again, she knew exactly what the Adepti was thinking about, it really broke her heart seeing him like that, it really wasn't his fault. The female smiled at the newly announced Yaksha, telling him he will be fine but someone entered the room and the familiar scent gave Y/n goosebumps all over her body.

,,Flower, there you are, I was searching for you and Xiao but I see you both are being busy training.''

,,We just finished pepple and Xiao is ready to be the First Yaksha, he improved so much over these couple of years i'm very proud of him.''

,,I see, thank you my love. Xiao i'm honored if you would now take your place as the first Yaksha, please protect this land and our people until the very end of the time.''

Xiao keeled with his left leg and looked at the ground.

,,I, Xiao the first Yaksha will accept and protect this land at all costs.''

Morax and Y/n smiled like proud parents nodding and dismissed Xiao. The two lovers walked to the garden sitting next to each other, drinking Osmanthus wine. Y/n thought about the Archon war that started when her lover freed Xiao, since then nothing was the same, fire, hunger and death everywhere even the Forest started to gather everything just in case. Both Y/n and Morax have been fighting together and protecting their lands, they lost many good warriors but that kept them going, because they both don't want their deaths be in vain.  After some minutes Shu and Hu entered the Garden they spoke about a fight happening near by but it wasn't something big so they could handle it easily. Morax gave them permission to handle the situation and they both went into battle.

,,Hu you're such a crybaby you know, god why am i even bothering....'' Shu was angered at her brother because he always cries when he trips or falls. Shu has been watching over her brother since forever even in their young years. Their parents were both Human and Adepti beasts, the village they lived was poor and full of danger but that doesn't hold them back to have fun as kids playing on the street. They also trained with their father while their mother cooked for them and showed how they can take care of themselves if she's gone someday.

One Summer night Shu and Hu went to the river watching some fireflies. Hu looked the the direction where their house is and saw smoke emerging with the smell of burned wood. Hu immediately told his sister and they both ran home only to see their house getting consumed by flames. Shu grabbed her brother and they both hid behind bushes.  They heard a group of people laughing and someone crying in front of the burning house. The two clearly saw that their poor mother was kneeling in front of the house crying, she had wounds everywhere.One of the men walked up to her grabbing her hair and pushing her on the ground, talking to her:,,Listen we gave you and your family of misfits many opportunities to get away from here but still you stayed and now you left us with no choice then burning your damn house to the ground. After all it was your fault and that of your bastard kids that all evil is coming to our village, so please tell us where they are you we can offer them to the gods.''

The mother smiled and looked the man straight in the eyes:,,Fuck off, I will never tell you where my kids are. My Husband did everything for this village, he even could burn it down if he wanted to but he rather  lived a peaceful live with us. You think it is our fault for the spirit attacks but it is not, it is your fault alone you burned parts of their forest and killed some of them.
