CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT

Jordyn sat in a chair, listening to her probation officer ramble about things she didn't even care to hear. She just wanted to go back home and take the biggest cat nap.

Finally, her probation told her she could leave and Jordyn didn't hesitate to grab her backpack and leave the small room. As soon she stepped out, she froze at the sight of Robby Keene sitting in one of the chairs. She hadn't seen him around since he literally almost killed Miguel.

When Robby glanced up and saw the queen of Cobra Kai, he instantly shot up and approached her with balled fists.

"Go ahead. They'll send you straight back to juvie." Jordyn said, crossing her arms against her chest. She watched as he unballed his fists. Then she sighed. "Look, we're in the same boat."

Robby narrowed his eyes at her. "Thank to you for starting the fight."

"And you for finishing it." She shot back, Robby's face falling. "It's not fair, you know. Everyone else got to go back to normal, but here we are, eating shit while your girlfriend—"

"Don't talk about Sam." He snapped at her.

Jordyn scoffed in disbelief, crossing her arms against her chest. "Wow. Are you seriously still defending her after she literally cheated on you?"

"She made a mistake. Sam is a good person."

Jordyn nearly rolled her eyes. "I've known her longer than you. She's not good at all. Just wait, she'll turn on you."

Robby shook his head, refusing to believe it. "You don't know that."

"Then why are we both here? At least I know who I am. You're still pretending to be something you're not." Jordyn replied. She eyed him before walking away, but suddenly stopped and turned to look back at him. "Oh, by the way, on the section about home life, just check off stable. They don't give a shit. They never come to check."

With that, she turned and left the building, leaving Robby Keene all alone in his thoughts.

Kreese decided to take Jordyn with him to the city council meeting. Apparently, the All Valley Under-18 Karate Tournament was cancelled, and all the Sensei's were furious about it.

Jordyn looked up from her phone when she heard footsteps. She glanced over her shoulder to see the one and only Johnny Lawrence walking in. He didn't seem to notice her as he made himself comfortable in a chair not far from her.

Then, Jordyn felt a pair of eyes on her. She glanced over her shoulder to find Sam LaRusso staring straight at her. She was sitting between her parents, but Jordyn didn't care. She gave the LaRusso girl a small smirk, a look in her eyes that made Sam intimidated.

"Okay, next we will hear appeals for the cancellation of the All Valley Under-18 Karate Tournament. Who would like to speak first?"

Jordyn watched as her Sensei got up, at the same time Daniel and Johnny did. But he beat him to the stand. "Ladies and gentlemen, I'm retired Army Captain John Kreese." He began.
