CHAPTER THIRTY FOUR

"So you two are together now?" Kyler asked Jordyn and Robby as he approached them.

Jordyn and Robby glanced at each other, before looking back at him and nodding their heads, confirming that they were.

"Oh!" Kyler suddenly exclaimed. "My boy, Rory, he got some free tickets to the drive-in tonight. I think they're going old school with it. Something called Bloodsport? I heard it's pretty dope. So, if you guys are in, let's do this."

"I don't know if I can. Depends on how late I have to work tonight. My boss put me on the schedule for today. Guy is a total creep." Jordyn explained, slowly shaking her head.

"He is." Tory agreed as she walked up to them.

"You got a new job? Where?" Robby asked Jordyn, remembering she didn't tell him anything about getting a new job.

"It's none of your business." Jordyn replied, glancing down. She didn't realize how rude she said it, until Kyler whistled and muttered 'someone is cranky today'. She didn't want Robby (or anyone) knowing where she worked. She's embarrassed working there.

Robby glanced at Tory, but the Nichols girl looked away from him because she knew her best friend didn't want anyone knowing. She didn't blame her. Tory hated working there as well.

Jordyn snapped her head up when Kyler approached them, standing between the new Cobra Kai couple.

Jordyn noticed the look on his face. "What's up, kid?"

"I was at the high school yesterday and these older kids started messing with me." Kenny started to explain. "One guy told me I should quit Cobra Kai."

"Who was he?" Robby asked.

Kenny shrugged. "I don't know. He had this spiky red hair."

"Hawk." Jordyn muttered, her jaw clenched.

"We still owe that Judas some payback." Tory said with a clenched jaw.

Jordyn turned to walk away, but was stopped by Robby. "Are you okay?" He asked, his voice filled with concern.

"I'm fine." She gave him a small fake smile before pressing a kiss on his cheek, then turning around and walking away.

"Everyone fall in!" Kreese ordered as he walked out of his office. Jordyn went to her spot, which was between Tory and Robby. "As you know, our enemies are working together. They are combining their styles to beat us. But they are destined to fail. Because there is only one way. And what is that way?"

"The Way of the Fist, sir!" Everyone shouted.

"Exactly. However, that doesn't mean that we can't double down. Class, meet Sensei Terry Silver."

Everyone turned as another man wearing a black gi appeared. Jordyn instantly remembered seeing him just a couple days ago. This time, he had his grey hair pulled back in a ponytail. He stopped next to Kreese and that's when his eyes locked with hers. He observed her before throwing a smile at her.
