An Unforgettable Christmas (Iida x reader)

After opening the last of your gifts, and several makeout sessions later, you went to get changed. You had actually recieved a new Christmas jumper from Yaomomo, and some cute earings from Jiro that almost matched so you intended on wearing them. You appreciated every gift you received from your friends and counted yourself lucky that you hadn't gotten anything weird or pervy from Mineta or Denki. Those two could be a handful at times, especially Mineta. Tenya was just as greatful as you, he didn't want those two getting his girlfriend something weird. Denki would never get you anything overly bad, and if he did it was only ever as a gag. He was, after all, dating the guy who may as well be your brother.

His girlfriend. The thought made him almost dizzy. Finally you were his, his to love and his to hold. He had lived spending time with you over the holidays and only wished the two of you would do it more often during the school year. Sure, you had often studied together as just the two of you in the library but it wasn't the same. He hated to admit it but if what you said was true he was actually quite nervous for tonight. As teachers, Mr Aizawa and Mr Yamada didn't need to like him, necessarily, though he liked to think they did, however as the boyfriend of someone who was basically their adopted daughter having them like him was pretty much mandatory or he wouldn't survive the rest of the night, let alone the rest of the school year. Tenya had also decided to change into a button up and nice slacks, even though you had said the two of you would be baking and it might get dirty. Now he was standing in front of your door, his fist raised to knock but his heart in his throat.
"(Y/n)?" He called through the door as he knocked "May I enter?"

"Door's unlocked!" You called back from where you were tugging your new black jumper over your head

Tenya opened the door and stopped in his tracks when he saw you. You had one some nice jeans and your new black and red jumper, the neck of a black turtleneck sticking out the top. Your hair was pulled up into your black beret, showing off the little red earrings Jiro had given you and the locket that Tenya himself had gifted you. You wore your usual watch on your worst and your ever present silver ring on your finger. You explained that the ring had been a gift from Eri last Christmas and that you never ever took it off. You had minimal makeup on but Tenya didn't think you needed it. You looked gorgeous.

"Uh, Ten?" You asked when you noticed his gaze hadn't wavered from you "Tenya? Love? What's up?"

Snapping from  his thoughts and knowing he had been caught Tenya shook his head and blinked twice before saying the first thing that came to mind without thinking.

"Uh, you know that that watch is useless in serving it's purpose?" He asked

You laughed and shook your head, looping your arm around his and walking him out into the hall, closing the door behind the two of you. He was cute when he was flustered.

"Thanks, Ten, but I don't wear it to tell the time I have my phone for that," you explained with a laugh "I never actually learned how to read analogue, but I got this watch at the art gallery a few towns over when they had an exhibition of a whole bunch of Salvador Dali paintings. I love his work. The back of it is actually engraved with a quote of his 'Everything alters me but nothing changes me.' It's like a self affirmation, reminding me that what I've been through is not who I am."

"Interesting." Tenya hummed, refusing to look at you

You just laughed and pat his shoulder before your eyes widened and you cursed. You zipped back into your room to grab his last gift, leaving him on his own by the elevator. He had appreciated the boom and the glasses case but you had one more thing to give him. It wasn't as neatly wrapped as everything else and was lumpy but you thought he would love it.
