Something (Allen x Reader)

You had woken up at 5:30, and Ney had showed you what to do. It was now 6am sharp and you had to start.

As you started to dust off the shelves, you saw Allen across the hallway.
You decided that you weren't mad at him. You was mad at yourself. You looked over to him, and he din't seem to notice.

A few hours later

It was 12:00pm. It was our lunchbreak. You decided to sit with some of the other maids and maybe try to get to know them better.

The food WAS AMAZING.

After you finished eating you could hang out in the courtyard. This was my chance to apologize.

"Hello, Sir Allen."

"Ah, Just Allen, is fine... Oh hey, you must be the new maid? Nice to meet you, Ms Leavenworth."

"Wait... you called me by my name??"

Excuse be but what? I'm not complaining but... WHAT?

"Yeah... of course! I'm just glad you're okay." He grinned

Wait... he's acting like a decent human being?????? Somethings up.

"What do you mean?"

"Oh, right. It's a long story, you passed out because of something that was in the food, im... really sorry, I- I didn't know you were allergic to shellfish.

Shellfish...?

"Its okay. I should be the one apologizing to you after how rude I was last night."

"Hm? When you passed out, I carried you to our room. Then I had decided to let you rest."

He... carried me?
Agh Whatever.

"Oh..."

"Also, here's your headband you forgot." He said, handing it to you.

"Thanks." You exclaimed.

"Studies have shown, after passing out, dreams that seem relevant to real life are often to occur." Ney chimed in.

"Ahhh that makes total sense now!" Chartette said, coming out of nowhere...

"It does..." Allen said.
"Would you like to redo our introduction?"

"Sure." You said, happy that this drama was over.

"I'm Allen Avadonia, servant of the Princess, nice to meet you."

"And I'm Karla Leavenworth, nice to meet you, Allen.

(He shook your hand elegantly with grace)

Chartette came up from behind and forced the three into a group hug.

Ney joined in after a second.

It was time to go back to cleaning and duties at 1pm.
You were glad that everything had gone back to normal and that you could have a regular friendship, and maybe even more. ;)
And that was when you noticed that you had never let go of his hand. But... neither had he.

"Cmon, lovebirds. Its time to get to work!" Chartette said.

"Hm. I guess your right... goodbye Karla.

"Bye."

Lovebirds? Really? Pshh I wish... hah. I'm kidding. No seriously... I DONT like him... STOP!

You got to the yard work. Your duties were to 1, pull the weeds. And 2, water the plants. It was an easy task. Not considering you had to do more after that. But still. It was going surprisingly well for someone who'd just gotten kicked out from their house, then being falsely accused.

You had almost finished pulling the weeds out. Surprisingly, it took an hour and thirty minutes just for half of it. You decided to take a break to water the plants, the flowers were beautiful. There were roses, tulips, daisies, and many others that you couldn't identify. Although you were sure Ney could've named every single type. She is one brainy person. You were considering taking a flower and giving it to Allen. To apologize... of course. But you thought that would be to much. Plus, you felt that Princess Riliane would kill you if she saw you doing the complete opposite of your job.

30 minutes later after you had finished watering all the plants, you decided to finish the weeding process. It was around 4:30, and you had 2 more duties.
The next one was to clean the courtyard. Which was pretty easy, so you headed over there.

You grabbed the broom from the closet,
and started sweeping. You made sure it was picture perfect. And after that, it was 6pm, you decided to start looking at the fountain again. Its bright, dazzling beauty reminded you of Allen's eyes. You've gotten lost looking at both of them. You realized how much Allen had popped into your brain at such random times. And you started to think...

"Hey"

You felt Chartette's bouncy energy from behind.

Do you think she saw me?

"Oh hey, Char!" You exclaimed.

"Wassup?? Finally glad ya duties are over?"

"Well, I find my duties calming. They distract me from everything thats happened before I came here."

"Thats great! I'm glad yer enjoyin ya time here."

I'm sorta glad she didn't ask about what happened before I came here.

"Thanks." You smiled at her.

You started talking to each other for a while.
