Story Of My Life (In A Relationship With EXO Lay ?)

Yixing visited me next week again.

He seemed different than all of the times I had met him. I didn't know what it was, but there was something different about him that evening. He smiled when saw me. My frown deepened. I thought he won't see me now that his group members knew about what had gone down between us.

"I don't think you should visit me anymore." I crossed my arms against my chest. "I don't know, Yixing. It's just not right. What are we even doing?"

"Can I take you out on a dinner tonight?" He looked down at his watch and then at me. "Baekhyun will be free from the shooting in an hour, so we arranged our practice hour according to him. We still have an hour before I go back to practice. We're having a comeback soon."

"Did you hear what I said?" I sighed. "Yixing, I'm getting married. Please leave me. Respect yourself to walk away from me. What's wrong with you?" My head hurt seeing him here. What I had done to him? "I hate myself for dragging you along already. Let's just... Let's just go on our own ways. Okay?"

"I promised you." His dimples appeared. "I promised you to treat you dinner as an apology for my behavior. Let me fulfill my promise. I'll be out of your life then."

His words made my heart sank in my stomach, but I gathered some courage. It was for the better and he needed to move on. "Okay." I went into the bedroom and got ready for the date.

Yixing held my hand as we walked into the restaurant. Sunhee's cousin Ae-Cha welcomed us. "Hello, little bean." I ruffled her hair. She grinned.

We took our seats. Yixing took the meat in between the chopsticks and fed me. There were no conversations. Just silence. And him and I. After dinner we left the place and he again took my hand in his. I felt warm. I watched our steps and tried to match his. Slowing down we walked together. Step by step. Then Yixing started talking. About random things. He told me things I didn't ask for.

"Suho is the centre for our next comeback and he practice by looking at the mirror. He wants to look cool." Yixing had a smile on his face. "Sehun and Chanyeol's rap is fire this time. And there's Xiumin, I feel like he's the God when it comes to being an idol. He can dance and sing well. He is even thinking of going into the acting field now. Chen is understanding of me and it makes me emotional from time to time."

Tears appeared in my eyes and I blinked to keep them from falling. I knew what he was doing at the moment. I nodded, asking him to go on. I didn't trust myself to talk right now.

"Kyungsoo makes the best food. Sehun is being getting habitual of the baby treatment. He is the only one who has Kyungsoo wrapped up around his finger." Yixing chuckled. "Then there's Kai. I want to take care of him and also want to have a dance battle with him someday. He is cool too."

Then he stopped. I stopped too, staring ahead. The street lights flickered and it turned dark on the way. I curled my hand and held on to his with other. Taking a deep breath, I turned to him. His eyes were empty. As if he had switched off his emotions. I couldn't do it though, so I let my tears fall for both of us.

"Fei. Thank you for meeting me." His eyes scanned our intertwined hands and I tightened my hold on him. He chuckled and slowly pulled his hand from mine. "I won't say we did good to each other, but I hope that I did give you some kind of comfort in our time together. I wanted to stay in your life for a long time..."

My tears fell freely. I didn't stop them this time. It was difficult to control myself knowing these were the last few moments I had with him. His warm hand cupped my cheek as he caressed my face. I felt choked, suffocated. Even simple thing as breathing seemed a lot of work.
