Hitomi sat comfortably in her seat with her handbag slung over her shoulder. Thankfully for the peach girl, she was able to procure a private area on the train where she could have her own time alone. This was exactly what she wanted as she stared at the contents of her bag. After making sure she was the only one once more, Hitomi grabbed a stack of papers, which contained a few envelopes, struggling to keep the stack in her hands due to its sheer size.

A sense of nostalgia hit the woman as she looked at the first piece of paper in her hands. Each and every sheet contained hand written contents. They were letters to her from one person and one person only.

Hitomi separated the first sheet of paper from the rest, relaxing her body for the much wanted read she had planned for a while.

"Hey Hii-chan, it's been some time hasn't it? I hope you are doing well! Congratulations on becoming a member of IZ*ONE!!! I watched each and every episode nervous that you would just barely fall short- But of course you made it! You're the best after all!!"

Hitomi let out a low giggle at the energetic nature of the writing before her.

"I'm so proud of you for working so hard! I'm a bit sad that we couldn't talk much because they took your phone away... Though, this method is a bit endearing right? Maybe I'll write more letters to you so you can receive more strength!!"

Hitomi looked at the bottom of the page, smiling.

"Your boyfriend, Y/n."

Hitomi set the first letter aside, moving in chronological order of the letters sent to her.

"Hey Hii-chan. I'm really continuing this... I'm currently writing this right after watching your debut stage. I must say, you stood out like a star in the night sky!! I couldn't take my eyes off you the entire time!"

Hitomi blushed as she recalled the feelings she felt when she had first read the letter all that time ago.

"I hope you're doing your best during your promotional period. I was so excited to see my girlfriend on TV in another country that I rushed home as soon as I could! I hope you can continue with the same energy you had over here! Eat well, and sleep lots! Okay? I love you."

Hitomi caressed the bottom of the page with her thumb, staring blankly at the letters spread on the page.

He really must have rushed to write this to send out. His handwriting is messier than usual here...

Moving onto the next letter, Hitomi shifted in her spot before reading its contents.

"Hey Hii-chan, I saw you had a comeback! I saw you were extremely thin though... I hope you're taking good care of yourself. I'm worried you're not eating enough. Are the beauty standards that harsh in Korea? If so you should toss those aside. I know your Japanese fans wouldn't make a fuss if you ate properly. I'll make sure to stream your songs everyday. Through me alone, you guys will be number one in Japan!!"

Hitomi shook her head at the hyperbolic gesture, before shuffling the papers to the next letter. This one had a few stains at the bottom from the tears Hitomi had shed at the time out of sheer happiness. She remembered her members' mixed reactions from her tears. Some made fun of her, others were jealous, while the rest just watched in approval.

"Hey Hii-chan, I saw in the news that you'll be holding a concert here in Japan. You bet I'll be coming to see you and support your fellow group mates! I've been watching a lot of your content, and while I don't understand what you guys are saying most of the time, I found a few videos with Japanese subtitles on YouTube. I've grown more attached to your group members because of that, but you best believe that you're still number one in my heart!! I'll bring the same peach and mango cake we used to eat every time there's an occasion. I hope you and the others will like it. Recently I've been missing you a lot. So, I'm extra excited to be able to see you in person. Even if it's from a distance. I love you!!"
