"Yes princess, that is in fact correct. And at this time, I have absolutely no inclinations or intentions of doing so. Not only do you need your guardian team, but Rose needs Dimitri to be here WITH HER to train her. He couldn't very well train her if he wasn't here after all." I saw Alberta's lip twitch as she tried to contain her smirk.

"Thank you so much Guardian Petrova. Do you have any idea where he and Rose are? No one seems to have seen either of them since yesterday."

"Oh, I'm so sorry that I didn't get around to telling you before we left the academy. But I sent Rose and Belikov to Brazil to the Amazon rain forest for two highly intensive weeks of training and living off the land. She's well used to training in the snow and warmth of Montana. So I felt that she needed to train in some very different kind of climate, on different and more rigorous terrain and in unfamiliar circumstances and environment. Just to be on the safe side. After all, you never know what type of circumstances or situations that you might find yourself in. I mean God forbid that any of you are ever in a plane crash or something like that. But if that were to ever happen, then someone needs to know what to do. Know what type of things are safe to eat, where and how to get water and so on and so forth."

"That is all very true, thank you so much for thinking of that Guardian Petrova I really appreciate it. Is there any way to get in touch with them?"

"No, I am afraid not. I am sorry princess, but they are radio silent for the next two weeks unless there is some type of medical life-threatening emergency. And you are quite welcome."

"That is all right. I KNOW that she is all right and she will tell me all about it when she and Guardian Belikov return. And thank you so much Guardian Petrova, you have been a REALLY big help." Lissa smiled at Alberta.

"You're very welcome princess." Alberta nodded before she walked away with a smile on her own face. She knew what was going on, I am absolutely sure of it.

"So I guess that he is not transferring to you after all Tasha." Lissa smiled smugly at Tasha. But Tasha just growled as she sent a furious look to everyone, including Christian, before she turned and stormed away. Stomping her feet like a spoiled little two-year-old that didn't get JUST what they wanted for CHRISTmas.

When Tasha shot them all that hostile look poor Christian looked hurt and confused. He had no clue what was going on but having her look at him that way hurt him deeply. Because, as I said, she is the only family that he has that will have anything whatsoever to do with him.

"I hope that you saw all of that Rose. But don't you worry, because no matter what it takes, she is NOT getting your man... sorry I meant mentor. Not if I have anything whatsoever to say about it, even if I have to call Aunt Tati about it. And wherever you are please be careful, I love you sis."

*END BOND VISION*

Coming out of the 'bond vision' that I had just shared with my little sister I asked, "Dimitri?"

"Yeah, mladenets?" (babe)

God, every single time he calls me anything like that it makes my entire body shiver and tingle.

"What did you tell Tasha when she asked you to leave with her exactly?"

"That I needed to remain at the academy to finish your training. And that I couldn't ever leave you or Lissa without someone, that I approved of, to take my place. I also told her that I did not WANT to be WITH her, or be her guardian, that we are friends and that is ALL that we will EVER be. That I had other concerns and things to think and worry about right now, and in the future. Than to have to look over my shoulder all of the chert time worrying about when she was going to pop up and try to ambush me again. And that she should stop asking me to be her guardian and to be with her because it would not EVER happen. That I would be leaving the academy when you and Lissa do, with you, and not a single moment before that. But I don't think that she actually noticed the emphasis that I put on the fact that I would be leaving the academy with YOU." (damn)
