"What time is it?" Xiao asks. I check my phone.
"It's 2:30 in the afternoon. Damn! I completely missed school today!" I say, realizing that it's the next day.
Xiao stares into the depths of my inner soul.
"Do you have regrets." He asks.
I blush and shake my head. He pulls me into another hug.
I wipe my eyes.
"You have a place, right?" I ask. Xiao rolls his eyes.
"I might have legal problems, that's what." Xiao says.
That's right, he said that his parents were literal child abusers.
"Oh I've got it! Since in this world you're labeled as a delinquent, you should stay with me! I've got no record, so they'll see you with me and leave you alone!" It's not until those words leave my mouth that I realize that what I said was really offensive. "I-I'm sorry, I don't mean it like that!"
"No, you're not wrong." He says with a thoughtful look. "Besides, we did share a room back at Wangshu Inn..."
"Xiao, eww!" I cry, kidding around.
Many people (*cough* *cough* Childe *cough*) always told us to get a room.
However, what they didn't know, is that when we did, all we did was play cards. It was then that I learned that Xiao is scarily good at blackjack.
"Well, I wouldn't stay in your room, I mean. I'm not as depraved as some people think I am." Xiao says.
"Do I have a spare room?" I ask myself. I walk down my hallway and check.
Luckily enough, I do. A guest room.
"You can have this room." I say.
"Aight." Xiao responds.
"I, uh, I have to go talk to Amber and tell her why I wasn't at school today." I tell him, not really wanting to leave him.
"How did you get my phone number anyways?" Xiao asks.
"From Ganyu." I say.
"Ganyu?" He asks in confusion.
I show him the string of messages.
"The gc's been active since yesterday. They're probably yelling at me. I'd better inform them that you didn't kill me." I joke.
