Okay so my new headcanon is that Xiao is checking out the alternate reality in which Aether got taken by the Sus of Heavenly Principals and became the Abyss Prince instead of Lumine by Aether's request.
Yes, I'm aware it's a dumb premise, but I'm bummed out that I can't have a party of Xiao and Aether.
