"You can't buy my attention, Theo!" Evangeline shouted across the hall.

His parents weren't home so their vulgarity and volume was inconsequential.

"I am trying to be nice to you!" He rebutted.

She read his provocative thoughts and she knew it was far this statement.

"You are a bloody liar," She said, leaning her torso forward. Her voice was harsh and full of built of anger. "You are an animal."

"My thoughts are constantly intruded and I still try. You don't need my thoughts to tell you what the fuck my actions mean!" He barked, the hoarseness in his tone sent waves down the hall.

"I don't need to read your thoughts to know," She said, "that you are the exact definition of a womanizer, Theo!"

His thoughts slurred and overlapped, it was like a thunderstorm that swirled in his mind. She couldn't read them, they were all over the place.

"I beg to differ!" He chuckled grimly.

"Oh really?" She said, growing a morbid smile. "Then who's Pansy Parkinson? Wait, no that's Draco's girlfriend yet you sleep with her."

"You're even his best friend! Oh and who's Millicent? That's her best friend!" She shouted in glee. "What about Aurora huh? Annette and Kara?"

She was just throwing out names she's heard his mind think about and it was full of sexual remarks.

He stiffened, taken back to the names. She revealed that she knew too much, a hint of fear brewed inside her, seeing his insidious face.

Theodore stormed towards her, she froze. He was an inch away from her face as she leaned forward.

"Repeat that to anyone else-," He yelled sharply, sending a huff of air in her face. It was nothing liked she'd ever experienced, seeing someone so anger, so close. Her ears rung and his thoughts were murderous.

She wanted to cry to the sudden fear but she was more furious than afraid. Evangeline would rather be angry than scared.

"Or what?" She barked in his face. "Are you going to batter me the way your father does?"

He took a step back, his mind went blank. His dark eyes stiffened and so did he once again.

She saw his Adam's apple move up and down and he gulped. Evangeline wanted to take back those words, she wanted to undo what she said.

Those words had a gravity to it. She made a mistake.

She wanted to apologize but that boat was too far gone into the storm that once raged in his mind.

It was blank.

She opened her mouth to speak but he waved her off as he turned back around.

Evangeline walked to her door, hearing him slam his. It was almost powerful enough to break the door frame. The sound waves caused her to shudder.

Her eyes began to well but she wiped them away before they would fall. She didn't feel any better than he did. She felt worse than him.

All of this because she read his thoughts. This whole argument was caused by her. She read his private thoughts and she blew the argument out of proportion.
