Chapter 16

"then it's all settled, what better way to judge if we're behaving than to be together all the time?"
Gwen says with a big smile

"Wait... But... But"
Jennifer doesn't know what to say

"how did it come to this? AND WHO THE HELL GAVE YOU PERMISSION TO INVITE YOURSELVES TO MY HOUSE?"
Shouts Jennifer now left alone in the doorway.

This is the first time that the queen is hoping that the classes never ends, she has even started to follow them, which she never does, to try and keep her mind off of what lies ahead, Zoe has magically reappeared and is in her seat next to her, but she seems completely absent, Jennifer is starting to seriously worry about what happened to her the day before, she knows that the girls in her group are just as over the top as the ones in hers, but she didn't think they could reduce her in this state.

The first bell rings and Jennifer has no desire or intention to see those rowdy of her """friends""" again, so being vague she stays at her desk also because she's not entirely sure if Zoe is self sufficient right now.

"Hey Zoe?"

"mmh"

"have you recovered?"

"sort of"

"oh my god you spoke!"
Exclaims the girl hugging her friend

"what is that supposed to mean?"

"nothing... Apparently she doesn't remember being a zombie all morning"
She whispers the last part to keep from being heard

"why isn't anyone in class?"
Zoe asks confused

"because it's recess"

"ah... OHHH"
The girl with a shocked face stands up

"what!?"

"and why are we here? I mean our groups"

"oh my god Zoe... Who cares"
Jennifer pulls herself together after the scare that her friend gave her and puts her hand to her temple

"yeah but... okay"
Zoe calms down too.

The bell rang again, luckily for the two friends the members of their groups didn't come looking for them, classes resumed quietly, not even at the second break the two girls left the classroom and this time luck was on their side. The last hour of class has just ended, the queen and the queen come out of the classroom

"here we are!"
They ambush a girl from Jennifer's group and a girl from Zoe's group to their respective leaders causing them to take a swing

"ah hey... yeah well I here.... HELLO!"
Says Zoe quickly setting off to run faster than Bolt, she had no intention of spending one more second with those witches in girl form

"what the..."
The girl in her group is stunned but doesn't investigate further and walks away

"Are you ready queen? The others are outside waiting for us"

"yes..."

The afternoon was not very eventful, Malaika, Gwen and Chloe were calm the whole time hoping that this would do the queen a favor, all three of them definitely want to win Jennifer's approval with their good behavior. It got to be evening the sleepover officially begins, unfortunately.

"Wow how beautiful"

"well modestly, I've seen a lot of videos"

"wait, we got our nails done by someone who only watched videos?"

"yes"

"what do you mean by "just?""

Jennifer is already stressed by the situation and still has the whole night ahead of her, she doesn't think she can handle it and will surely end up like poor Zoe.

"Anyway... Now it's time for the gossips!"
Gwen exclaims enthusiastically, clapping energetically

"Yay!"

"I hope you brought us something juicy"

"Yes yes relax"

Jennifer looks away, gossip doesn't interest her, she thinks everyone is free to do what they want and on the other hand she wouldn't like it if someone gossiped about her, so she doesn't see why she should do it with others.

"So... Ace... IS IN LOVE WITH JENNIFER"

"..."
General silence

"what the fuck are you talking about?"
Says the queen dryly with the most apathetic expression she can muster

"It's the truth"

"who told you that? Him?"

"Yes"
Gwen answers proudly

"And what makes you think he's telling the truth?"
Jennifer asks without changing her expression

"I don't know"

"my goodness Gwen"
Jennifer is fed up and proposes, or rather orders the girls to go to sleep

"wait you have to tell us who won"

"Indeed"

"all three of you"
She says dryly before feeding herself under the covers and ignoring the girls complaints not at all pleased with the answer.

It's morning and Jennifer has literally kicked the three girls out of the house, she really couldn't take it anymore, she gets dressed in her home clothes and decides to do some homework to keep her mind occupied and not think about the huge lie Gwen spewed the night before.

"Imagine if he's in love with me..."
