I... I have superspeed?
I ran back to the house, feeling the wind rush through my body. I was terrified at the thought of trying to figure out a new power, but my feet still moved.
I have superspeed!
I walked back inside, "Barry went to fight Zoom."
Everyone stood and frantically started moving. Cisco noticed my movement and questioned, "Y/n are you okay?" I shook my head, "No, I think I'm like Barry..." Everyone looked at me confused before I ran to Cisco with the speed. I couldn't control it, so instead I tripped over to Cisco. "Holy crap!" He said as he held me.
We all walked back to STAR Labs, where we found Barry sitting on the floor. "I know what he wants." He said facing the floor.
I was taken to their training room with Caitlyn, while everyone else talked with Barry. I had, what they called, the speed force in me. It shocked me how much they already knew about it.
After running for a while, Joe came walking in with a sad glump. I walked over to him when he spoke out, "He wants to kill Zoom. So, we locked him in the pipeline." I nodded my head and walked over to where he was said to be.
"Barry?" I asked, waiting for his response.
"Let me out!" He yelled as he banged on the door. He looked up at me angrily. "Y/n, open the door." I shook my head lightly, "Barry, let's talk about this." He groaned, "There's nothing more to talk about! You don't even care, so just open the fucking door!"
"I do care! What makes you think I don't?"
He hesitated before talking again, "You left us. You left me. You told me we would never be together. Iris and I are not made for each other. I want to be with you, but you keep pushing me away. Y/n, you hurt me when you left. I needed you."
I sighed at his words, "I'm sorry, Barry. I left because-" I debated whether I should tell Barry the truth. "I found out about Dr. Wells. I saw the future." He looked at me, shocked. "Y-You saw the-" "Newspaper, yeah."
There was an uncomfortable silence between us. "Y/n, you won't die and I won't marry Iris. Trust me."
Who would've known that those words were the most untrue words that came out of his mouth.
