Sian's POV

"Hey Teresa," I smiled.

She smiled back, her blue eyes shining from the amount of sun in the Glade. "Hey, Sian. What's up?"

"Oh, was just gonna get water. It's really hot." I sighed, fanning myself with my hand a bit.

"Well, go and get water then. Wouldn't want to have you dehydrated." She patted my back before walking away.

I walked over to Frypan and got a glass of water before returning to Thomas in the Deadheads.

To my surprise, he wasn't there anymore. "Thomas? Where are yo— aaahh!!"

Thomas had a spider in his hand. A giant, grey hairy spider. In. His. Hand. Waving it at my face.

"Thomas!? What the hell?!" I shrieked.

He set the spider on the ground and it crawled into a hole by the foot of a tree before cracking up.

"Thomas!" I shouted to get his attention.

"S-sorry what?" He laughed.

"Seriously!?"

"Okay... okay I'm done, I'm done." He calmed down.

"Seriously Thomas? A shucking spider!?" I shrieked.

"What? It was a good joke, right?" He smiled.

"No! It wasn't! It wasn't a good joke, you scared the klunk out of me!"

"Well, I'm sorry. I didn't know." He said, acting innocent.

"What do you mean, 'I didn't know'? You were the one who told me yourself! 'I promise
to never joke about anything related to spiders to you'." I said, mocking his tone.

He opened his mouth to say something but I turned around and ran. I ran and ran. I had a big fear of spiders, it started in the Box. Those big hairy types wouldn't get off of my leg. It clung on and it hurt really, really badly.

I found myself in the Maze, just by the Doors. I saw Thomas running after me and I ran ahead, left, right, straight, into a corner and hid behind a wall.

I heard his footsteps and loud breaths nearby and I held my breath and stood still. He just stayed there and I silently made my way deeper into the corridor, when I heard a screech from above me.

"Shuck..." I muttered. I heard a loud clang and a series of clicks, getting louder and louder... ans then it charged after me.

I screamed, which caused Thomas to find me. He gripped my arm and we sprinted, straight, and... straight?

"Thomas that's a wall!" I shouted.

"Trust me." He said, determination in his voice, and we ran towards the wall. I closed my eyes and braced myself for the impact, but then we fell into the wall...? I winced as I felt my knees getting scratched. I stood up and Thomas pulled me to a corner in the wall and adjusted the ivy hanging in front of us. I hugged him close, out of fear and guilt.

"I'm sorry for getting mad at you earlier. And for running into the Maze. We never would've been in this situation if it wasn't for me, we would've just be-"

"Shush, it isn't your fault okay? I was the one who should be apologizing, for scaring you and for breaking my promise." He whispered. "I'm sorry."

"It's okay," I said.

"You're lucky I love you, I would've never forgiven you." I muttered as quiet as I could.

"What did you say?" Thomas raised an eyebrow.

Shuck. "Huh? What're you talking about? I n-never said anything,"

"Sian..." He gave me a look.

"Fine. I like you okay? As in, like-like." I told him, turning red. I started to move away from him but he pulled me back.

"I like you too Sian. I just never thought you'd feel the same way." He said.

Smiling, I kissed his cheek. I opened my mouth to say something else when the Griever that was chasing us came into sight. We sat still and held our breaths. Tension filled the air as the Griever whipped it's tail and turned it's head in different directions, trying to find us. It then gave up and decided to go back to the corridor where I found it. Both Thomas and I let out soft sighs of relief as it did. We ran back into the Glade as fast as we could and explained everything (leaving out the confession part) to Newt, who was waiting by the Doors, worried sick.

The night went on, there was a bonfire and we celebrated along.

I hope this was okay for you Sian, sorry too it took so long for me to update :c
