Fitz p.o.v.

I was laying in bed, staring at the white quartz ceiling. The lights were blinding and had a slight pinkish tint. where was I? I was running through possibilities when I heard a voice.

"Finally your awake" The person said "I'll go get Elwin" a new voice that was at least an octave higher continued. I looked toward where the voice was coming from. To my surprise I saw a Dimpled boy with strawberry blonde hair "Dex?" I asked. "Yes and thank god your awake, you've been out cold for days" Dex said

"DAYS?!" I said wincing from the strain.

A beautiful girl walked in. She had rosy cheeks and long black hair. Her pale skin glowed in the lights of the healing center. A teal dress wrapped her thin frame. She smiled at me, her glassy blue eyes shining with fresh tears. "Thank god your awake" she said. "Linh?" I asked.

She nodded as Elwin walked in "Take this" Elwin said. I happily chugged the slimy white liquid. "What is this?" I asked. "You don't want to know" Elwin said "that's probably best" I replied with a smile.

"Where's Sophie?" I asked with a bit too much excitement "she would usually be here." Everyone frowned "you don't remember?" They asked. "No, what happened?" I questioned "Is she okay, did something happen? Where is she? I need to see her"

"You got in a fight, a big one" Dex said "you got jealous of her being with Keefe, she said you needed to stop treating her like a little baby, you said she would never be here without you, then you called her family useless, she screamed, dropped you with her inflicting, then we rushed you to Elwin, and here we are.

"I remember that now" I said "it's like it all just triggered". Tears slipped down my face. "What a jerk" I whispered

"so now im a jerk?" An angry voice snapped from the hallway. I looked toward the doorway and saw Sophie and Keefe in the doorway. Keefe's arm was wrapped around Sophie's shoulder and her head was leaning on his arm.

She was was wearing a short white dress with pink, yellow and purple butterflies on it. Her long blonde hair was was woven into an intricate french braid. Keefe was wearing a red tunic and a black cape. His hair was the perfect blend of styled and styled. I smoothed my hair so it would look better. Not that I was trying to impress her....

"Oh yeah Sophie even when we were together I always knew you liked Keefe, He just follows you around like a lovesick puppy" I shouted.

"Just stop" she snapped

"YOU DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO SOPHIE FOSTER" I screamed "or should I call you Sophie Sencen"

"Were not married" she whispered

"Maybe we should go" Keefe reasoned. "Oh sure, always running away from your problems Keefe" I said, sitting up then wincing from the movement

"and you know what, this friendship is over Sencen!" I continued " You know what I don't even care, you can be with Keefe, marry him for all I care, I am done with you Sophie" I said, I could feel the salty tears streaming down my face but I didn't care.

"Fine" she screamed "im done with you too I can't believe I ever, ever liked you Fitz. I hate you!" She finished storming out of the door.

There were fresh tears streaming down her face ruining her makeup. Keefe shook his head at me "don't you even start mr. President of the foster fan club" I said "I can't believe I ever trusted you, you're just a no good jerk who is probably just gonna run off to the neverseen again"

He started to cry "I don't care if you talk about me, but don't you EVER talk about Sophie like that again" he shouted. He came over to me and punched me in the nose. Before running out to Sophie who was leaning against her locker crying.

"Fitz" Linh said, she was crying too "don't talk about Sophie that way, she's the nicest, most kind person I know and, you don't deserve her. I'm done wasting my tears over you" she threw an orb of water at me and leaped away.

"Dude, Not cool" Dex said, leaping away as well.

Elwin looked at me with hatred in his eyes and was about to say something but swallowed down his words "I'll get you your last round of medicine, then you can go home" he quipped.

"Elwin" I reasoned "no, Fitz, don't Elwin me. You may not know this but I love Sophie, she's like a daughter to me, and when someone hurts someone I care about, I stop caring about them," He growled

"Next time you almost die, go to Livvy" he finished turning out the door

He came back with medicines. I chugged them with a frown. "Leave now, Fitz" he said.

I leaped away, wondering what would happen next. When I got home Biana was waiting for me. "This is for Sophie" she yelled, she sucker punched me in the nose and sashayed up the stairs to her room.

When I got to my bedroom I wiped the blood off my nose from Keefe and Biana. Linh's water orb had got some of Keefe's off ,but not much. My Father walked in and sat down on the bed, followed by my mom.

"You should apologize to everyone" My mom said

"Im not the one who needs to apologize" I replied. I ran out the door, sprinting to the winnowing gala hall where sophie had confessed her love for me the year before.

"I don't deserve this, Im Fitz Vacker" I grumbled "this is not how life is supposed to be, Stina was right, Sophie ruined our reputation,"
