Darker Twist | All of us are dead

Cheong-san closes the door behind him as the group run through the long hallway, their heavy footsteps echoing around the walls which attracts the zombies loitering around the stairs. Na-yeon squeals when a zombie suddenly appears in front of her, knees giving up causing her to fall down the floor. This made the others to halt as the zombie snarls at them.

Su-hyeok gave Cheong-san a look which goes unnoticed by Hye-wol, the lass only noticing it when Su-hyeok's grip was replaced by another hand--- Cheong-san's. The taller guy sprints forward, jumping with his one foot and using the wall as a leverage to kick the zombie.

The girls and guys alike were screaming in fear but Hye-wol's eyes sparkle in awe while watching Su-hyeok fight the zombies with bare hands. The guts of this guy to actually fight those horrifying creatures is out of this world and witnessing it in person is better than imagining it.

Su-hyeok was holding back the zombies alone and it took them quiet some time to realize that he needs help. If it wasn't for the zombie that went pass Su-hyeok as he was busy fighting the other one, they wouldn't jump in action.

The zombie was aiming for Hye-wol and she unknowingly hold onto Cheong-san tighter, cringing away in fear as the zombie got tackled to the floor by Su-hyeok.

Cheong-san suddenly push Hye-wol to the side and another arm wraps around her, this time it was soft and small. The lad, after passing her to Nam-ra turn to the wall to grab the sliding window out of its latch, the other boys doing the same.

Nam-ra's grip on her arm tightens as she pulls her back but Hye-wol followed the boys' action, breaking away from the Class President to grab a window of her own.

Hye-wol grunted, putting all of her weight to pull the window out of its latch in effort of acquiring a makeshift weapon but it's prove to be harder than what the boys had shown.

"Ah! I give up!" she groan, scratching her head in frustration to only find herself on the floor when a zombie tackles her down.

Due to adrenaline, Hye-wol's hand grab a fistful of its hair and pulls it back with all her might to avoid the bloodied teeth of the zombie on top of her, its brute strength is prove to be hard to handle as it trashes on top of her.

Suddenly, a white sneaker collided on its face causing it to roll out of Hye-wol and a hand pulls her back to her feet.

"Come on, you're fine." On-jo tells her as Nam-ra pushes the zombie away from them.

The zombie was then pushed by Wujin, joining the other guys in pushing the other zombies trying to claw their way to fresh meat using the wooden frame of the window.

Hye-wol, who finally recovers from the sudden attack looks at Dae-su who was frozen on his place before her eyes drifted to the guys having trouble in holding them back, "Dae-su yah!" she pointed at the door which the bear immediately understands.

Dae-su, with a brave look on his face grab the door from its latch and since it was a sliding door, he didn't struggle in removing it from its frame.

"Yah get out of the way!" Dae-su yells at the boys before he charges towards them.

The door was enough to cover the width of the hallway and enough to cover them from the grubby claws of the zombies.

"Come on!" Wujin calls them.

Nam-ra was the first one to snap from her reverie, pulling Hye-wol with her as she crosses the short distance between them and the boys.

"Come on, girls!"

"Hye-wol, stay behind me!"

"Let's go!"

"Push it!"
