Hi!

Some of you are really confused on how it ends and feels like it's not enough so I think I didn't really made the plotline clear so I'm going to explain it here.

Hye-wol wasn't a Yandere in the beginning. Her original plan is to go on with the plot while staying with the group. She wasn't aware of their dark obsession towards her but I mentioned a couple of times in this story that she's the author and she knew her characters really well.

Her state of mind was unstable to begin with. And this universe/system is corrupted (it was implied in Chap 1 with the computer symbolizing their world).

(Excerpt from Chapter 1)

When something changes, she gets this headache and when Gyeong-su escaped death, she got the worst headache ever. It somehow broke the thin thread of her sanity thus leading her darker side to wake up. She's the 'powerful presence' the witch was talking about because she's the author and if anyone who knows the world so much and would be able to adapt real quick, it was her.

(Excerpt from Chapter 19)

She became the uno reverse card of the whole Yandere harem and become one herself because of multiple factors (the headaches, her unstable state of mind, and then the corrupted system). It also a very prominent theme in this story that each time they changes the continuity, there will always a consequence. Hye-wol took the blunt end because (1) she wasn't from that universe; (2) she created the world.

Because of her writer advantage, she was able to adapt with the way the characters changes. She didn't know their exact plan, per se but she was able to feel it and adapt to it. Hye-wol knows their obsession all this time. Her walking on their tricks were all planned. She knows the camera, she knows all of their dark motives and she had played them. Why? because she's starved with love thus the reason why she was so submissive. She only become unhinge after Gyeong-su escaped his supposed death.

If you guys remember, I also often mention about "mask" or "characterization". That's my way of hinting you guys that she knows and she's acting.

Another thing, Hye-wol is actually smart in the art of manipulation. It was already hinted by the way she didn't even hesitate on what she will say to Coach Kang to get under his skin. She didn't even stutter. Multiple times, she also manipulated the Yandere Harem like making them believe that she's innocent whereas she's really not (Even the innocent people have the own darker side). Another example was Na-yeon's case. They believed that Na-yeon was dead but she's really not and that's thanks to Hye-wol's quick thinking and manipulation skill. It's almost natural for her. She's a writer and manipulation is easy for her since it's her strongest forte.

The Blood Oath they made was inspired to some dark rituals I've found on the internet (also got it from IT) but I modified it a bit since there are infected people among them. Since witchcraft and demons are real in this universe, the blood oath was real too. (DON'T DO THIS IN REAL LIFE! THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS!)

The corrupted system symbolizes how the attitudes of every characters in the story becomes corrupted with unhealthy obsession.

So, in conclusion, Shim Hye-wol is the ultimate Yandere and the Darker Twist.

That's it, thank you for reading this story and I have fun stirring my brain cell to come up with ideas. I also had fun reading your comments. I hope you support me on my next book. I love you all!

See you all in my next fanfiction!
