I shouldn't be doing this, but it's what has to be done, I take a deep breath walking towards the door, I raise my fist knocking on the door. "Vinnie Hacker? What are you doing here bro?" Some dude asks me "Um, I'm here to see Lukas?" I say nervously. "Oh yeah thats chill come in, it's just the third door on the left" the stranger pats me on the back. "Thanks man" I say walking towards Lukas' room, God I seriously shouldn't do this, I knock on the door, here goes nothing, actually wait here goes everything. "Vinnie?" a sleepy Lukas greets me, "Hey bro I came to make a declaration to you." I flash my signature grin, "a declaration? like of independence?" he looks confused. "No uh not of independence, I came to declare my love for Olive Rose James." at this he snorts "I think you came to the wrong place bud Olive isn't here."

"Well I should hope she's not here otherwise this becomes a lot more difficult." At this he looks confused, "Okay bro I'm confused but please continue" he says sitting down on the end of his bed. I stand tall gathering the courage to say what I'm going to say, "Okay, I love Olive Rose James with my whole heart and have loved her since I met her, we had an amazing relationship, until I got caught up in some bad decisions which ultimately lead to her catching me cheating on her with her best friend, who we do not speak of" he chuckles at my harry potter reference, i continue "i have recently discovered that I still love Olive and will stop at nothing to prove to her that I am deserving of her time, which I personally don't think I am or ever was, but I am afraid that your relationship with Olive is affecting my plan to which I say let us duel, the loser must back off and leave the Olive and winner to be happy" I finished with a smile "Ok buddy I'm gonna stop you there, although you sound like you did some shitty stuff, there is some good reasoning, but I will not duel with you and am curious about your duelings knowledge-" I saw it on Bridgerton" I cut him off at which he chuckles again"You clearly feel more passionately about Olive than I do and to which I say go get that girl because I can tell by the way she looks at you that she wants you too" he finishes his sentence. "so what should i do?" I ask him, " Well I am currently messaging Olive to let her know whatever we had going on is over, so I would suggest that you head home before she shows up here to gut you" he laughs, "yeah thanks bro I'm gonna head out now, it was nice to meet you" I say smiling as I leave, i can't believe that actually worked, they should write a book about me, maybe I could get Ollie to write a song about me, oh wait she already did, a couple of times.
