Caspian's POV
Adley and I get changed into training clothes and go into the bigger training room and she looks like a warrior every time she wears her outfit. It's because Adley is a warrior. We grab the training rods and go to each side of the room.

"Don't hold back" Adley tells me "Same to you" I say back to her and she cutely smirks at me.

We both whack our sticks together up at the same time and push on them.

"You know this would be a great story to tell our kids." I distract her "Oh, you mean the story where I beat their dad's ass to the ground?" Adley grabs her rod down to my ankle and flips me on my back.

"Don't act so cocky babe." I warn her and grab her ankle and flip her.

Jace's POV
As I'm looking for Adley in the institute I'm able to catch her and Caspian training together and I decide to watch them for a bit. At least Adley's not going easy on him.

"What are you doing Jace?" I hear Clary ask me and she comes beside me.

"Oh, just watching our daughter kick her own boyfriends ass. Oooh, that's going to hurt tomorrow, poor guy I almost feel sorry for him." I joke and Clary rolls her eyes.

"Can't believe she learned those moves from me and you of course." Clary says and I look at her. "What do you mean? You're an amazing Shadowhunter" I ask her

"Yeah but I didn't grow up to be one like her and you. That's why it's so amazing that she learned from me as well." Clary admits and I put my hand on my beautiful wife's cheek.

"You are more than a shadowhunter than you'll ever realize Clary. Growing up as one doesn't mean anything but being one does." I encourage her and kiss her and she kisses me back. All of a sudden a blade comes over our heads.

"I'm right here" Adley says and I take the blade out of the wall.

"Nice throw, can you catch it faster than you threw it is the question?" I ask my daughter and throw it at fast speed to her and she catches it perfectly.

"Next time don't question me dad." Adley warns me and I laugh.

"You've really stolen my confidence." I tell her and she smiles.

"Wrong dad, I didn't steal it, you gave it to me." Adley says proudly and I grab a blade.

"That'll change when I win." I joke with her and she looks at me with fake shock. "Oh it's on" Adley agrees and Caspian backs up next to Clary. As I'm coming up to Adley to start she uses the heightened speed rune against me and comes behind me.

"Clever, you've definitely learned from us closely." I tell her

Clary's POV
Caspian and I are just watching them at the door and I can't help but smile while watching these two. Seeing these two being so close together makes me love my family more. Especially as I'm really close to Adley too.

"Those two really do know how to fight together don't they?" Caspian asks me

"You have no idea, any time they have a mission together they instantly are connected. We both are with her." I tell him and he looks down and I realize it's about his mom probably.

"I'm sure your mom loves you Caspian. She's just been around the wrong people. Look at you, you are on our side, the side that's good. Look at how far you have come without her." I help him and he nods and looks at me.

"Thank you Clary, for everything." Caspian says to me

"Hey, you're apart of our family now. We'll all always help you." I promise him and he smiles. Alec comes running up to us.

"Caspian, you're mom wants to talk to you." Alec tells him and Adley comes up next to him.

"I'll come with you" She tells him and holds his hand and I look at Jace. "Ok, let's go" Caspian says and we go down with them. Hope he's going to be ok.
