By the time I'd finished mastering and revamping Burst Step, the sun had risen. I was about a mile out from Arthur and Jasmine's location, so I just ran with mana augmentation.
"Morning." I made my presence known to Jasmine, who had woken up early.
"Good morning. I assume the battle went well?" She was working on her dual dagger techniques while I sat down.
"I almost died a few times," I said matter-of-factly. "That thing was well above SS-class, but somehow, it was being suppressed to SS-class."
"The Beast Glades are very mysterious, as they hold many strange things. Anything and everything can happen at once or not at all." She sat down, wiping her sweat.
"So how's Arthur?" I changed the topic.
"He's very skilled, but it's strange. It's as if his body can't keep up with his mind. Though he knows how to move, it's like his body doesn't want to listen to him." I added to her comment.
"Like it's not able to keep up. His body and his sword techniques clash. He fight's like an adult with the body of an eight year old. He doesn't know, but I've seen through every tactic he's ever used." I looked at him, still sleeping.
"You're an even more fearsome talent than he is, you know." She absentmindedly looked at the fire I set to the wood she piled up. "Arthur alone is one of the most talented geniuses I've ever known.
And you, even more so. He's become this strong at only Light Red core. I can't imagine how powerful he'll become in the future."
"I can. And it's better for the continent if he gets stronger sooner. Nobody knows yet, but I can feel it. Even if I can't sense it, I can feel it. At the very least, there's definitely some other continent out there.
Another continent that likely has malicious intentions. I know Arthur and I can't take on everything in the future. But the least we can do is make sure the people we love stay alive. We'll save who we can on the way, I guess."
"You two are way too mature for nine-year-old's, you know," she smiled.
"We get that a lot," I smiled.
Standing up, I dusted off my clothes, putting my mask back on. I pulled a small bag out of my dimensional storage. It was packed with a few beast cores of all classes aside from A-class and above.
"Take this." I handed the bag to her.
Her eyes widened, so much so that she looked at me in amazement.
"I ran into a few issues along the way, so I figured I should help Arthur out and pick them up for you guys. Feel free to use them. I've already got what I want."
I turned toward Xyrus city and flew up in the air, turning back towards the woman.
"Tell Arthur I said hi." I waved.

"Ava, where's Kas?" I asked the woman at the front desk.
"Mr. Bladeheart is currently in his office, Sir Regal." She bowed respectfully.
"Thank you." I slid a small bag of gold coins toward her, to which she looked at me confused. "Take it as a reward for helping all the time."
"Kas." I opened the door and plopped into the chair that sat in front of his desk.
"I assume you found something?" He put the paper he was looking at down, picking up his cup for a sip of tea.
I pulled out the large bag of cores I had stored. "A and AA-class cores. Maybe one or two S-class."
"That's not everything, is it?" He looked carefully at the bag of cores I set in front of him.
