TBATE - The Help of a Certain Being

As soon as they heard the signal, Claire and Theodore immediately advanced while Marron stayed back and prepared her staff.

As I got ready to receive their little siege, I felt my body get heavier. Theodore was making plenty of use with his Gravity attribute, making me several times heavier.

I heard a whisper come from him. "Downfall."

"Nice applications, Theodore. What is it, three- no, five times Gravity? I can really feel the weight," I commended as I caught Claire's saber with my augmented hand.

Just as I pushed her back, I dodged an incoming Water Bullet on instinct, ducking back as I flipped over and jumped back to make some distance.

I shot a weakened Fireball or two at each of them, being dodged or blocked easily, Theodore applying more Gravity mana to my body as he jumped toward me with a large boulder in-hand.

At the same time he threw the boulder, Marron fired five more Water Bullets of decent size and strength. Skewered between which to dodge, I decided I might as well just tank the shots.

As they collided with my body, I could feel the boulder break and fall all over my body as the Water Bullets hit it.

As the dust cleared, I stretched my body. "Damn, that really caught me off guard. I should've expected this kind of teamwork from the fourth, fifth and sixth strongest in the class."

As our battle continued on, they'd begun to visibly tire, huffing as they distanced from our last exchange.

"Well, it looks like you guys are running out of steam, and I'm not gonna be beat anytime soon, so why don't we end this now?"

With that in mind, I willed Ice mana in my left arm and Fire mana in my right and raised my hands.

I intertwined the two, enhancing the output of the Fire mana just enough to make it a bright white-blue.

"White Fire," I muttered. The area around me within a five feet radius had begun to freeze and melt at the same time.

They stared at me in a fatigued amazement.

"I'm amazed you can use many spells like it's nothing, K," Claire commented, sitting down in defeat.

"Well, when you're strong enough to compete with the continent's most powerful," I began as I flew up with my Ice wings, "duking out spells like these eventually become nothing special."

Our battle came to a quick close after I threw White Fire at them. With moderation in the damage, of course. Just enough to make their gear go off.

"So, Cynthia. It looks like my approaching role as a future Student Council President is nearing. With that in mind, it seems like I can start implementing a few ideas of my own."

I was in Cynthia's office after class like usual. Apparently, it's become a regular thing to drop the Twins back off at my training room after classes, chat in Cynthia's room for a bit and then take them back to our dorms.

She thought about it for a moment. "Yes, that does seem like a good idea at this point. So, do you have any special things you'd like to share?"

"While I do have some plans to set in before I can begin implementing the real thing, I have a special request for you."

She seemed a bit interested in what I, of all people, could request of her. "And what exactly would that be?"

"Princess Tessia Eralith. I want her in the academy."
