Transformers: Age of Extinction (Reader Insert)

3rd POV

By morning, they had all reached Chicago. Tessa and Shane were in charge of stealing food and the essentials, while (Y/N) and Cade were figuring out a way into KSI.

Drift and Bee come back with Tessa and Shane. They dump out their bags. "It's protein." Tessa says, holding a bottle.

"Look I said the essentials, okay? You stole mouthwash?" Cade asks.

"I like to be fresh when I'm making out with your daughter." That set Cade off. He grabbed the bottle and threw it across the room.

It's isn't long before sunset arrives. (Y/N) is asleep on a chair, Tessa and Shane are cuddling, Cade is drinking protein water. The next morning, Bee takes Cade and Shane to KSI. The bots, (Y/N) and Tessa, are in an open area. (Y/N) is sitting in Crosshair's front seat, and Tessa in Drift's.

Bee pulls up and Shane gets in with Drift and Tessa. They all watch the live footage that Cade is sending through the drone. The bots begin to drive through the city streets. Shane and Tessa are with Bee, while (Y/N) remains with Crosshairs.

Hound, Crosshairs, Optimus and (Y/N) break in the back entrance. (Y/N) is on Crosshairs's shoulder plate, hanging on as he runs through the building. He's making sure they don't fall though. Crosshairs fires his gun to the roof.

"Science fair's over meat-bags."

"Destroy the lab!" Optimus yells as they kick over equipment. Sparks are flying everywhere, people are running and screaming.

"That's company property!" A man calls out, clearly the owner of the company.

"They're not your property! They were my friends."

Hound hold a gun to him. "Go ahead. Show us your true colour once and for all. This is all the spoils of war. Dead metal. Innovation. What we do here is science. Because if we don't do it, somebody else will. Because you cannot stop technology!"

"We're not your technology!" Optimus kicks over pieces of equipment.

"I broke the code, I own your whole genome. The world will approve. We can make you now, we don't need you, anymore"

"Autobots, we're done." Optimus turns and leaves.

The others soon follow him. Hound and Brains are annoyed that they didn't get to kick even a little bit of ass. The bots transform and begin to head on the highway. A transformer stops them, destroying the cars in front of them. They all turn a 180 and head back the way they came. Rockets are fired at them. The bots hit a truck in front of them and they transform. Optimus grabs Tessa and (Y/N), while Bee holds Shane and Cade. Bee throws them to Optimus and he transforms to hold them.

A rocket hits Optimus and he transforms, causing Shane and Cade to fall to the grass. Tessa and (Y/N) are on the road, behind Optimus. Optimus and Galvatron begin to fight.

"Tessa! (Y/N)! Run to the field!" Cade yells to them.

In an attempt to run to the field, Optimus falls right beside Tessa and (Y/N), causing them them to run back to the car. A missile travels through Optimus's chest, causing him to fall. He gets back up but another missile hits him and he falls on top of the car. Lockdown is steadily walking to him, his ship not far behind him. Tessa and (Y/N) get into the car, shutting the doors.

Shane tackles Cade at his attempt to rescue his daughter and friend. "They're hidden!"

"Optimus, Optimus. Get up!" The two in the car yell.

"I can't. Get out of here." He speaks back.

Tessa gets into the backseat and (Y/N) follows. A smaller ship detaches and wraps chains around Optimus and the car. Cade and Shane run to help them. Tessa is calling out her her father. (Y/N) is attempting to kick the back window open. Cade jumps up to grab the rope, but falls.

"Cade, warn the Autobots!"
