Transformers: Age of Extinction (Reader Insert)

(Y/N) POV

Cade and I continue to shoot the bots while Hound uses him empty ammunition belts to hit the prototypes.

"Get up Hound!"

"I can't go on. Tanks empty bro." He says to Cade.

"There's more of them coming. If you don't get up and fight we're going to die. Let's go!" I yell from the window.

After we go back to shooting, we hear crashing and a cry or roar.

"Optimus is here!" Hound yells.

We walk out from the house and Optimus comes up on a dinosaur.

"You. Step forward. Your science will be responsible for humanity's extinction." Optimus says as he holds a blade to point at Joshua.

"Look I know that your sensitive to this whole bioethical dilemma." He tries to come up with an excuse.

"Maybe all he wants to here you say is that some things should never be invented." I say just as the T-Rex transformer opens its mouth as if to eat Joshua.

"We'll lead you out of the city. Get that seen safely to the hills." Optimus says and he heads off.

We run to a car and Cade turns it on. Shane says that he's driving and Cade nods. Due to the lack of seat, I get into the back part which doubles as a boot with Darcy. Something happens and the seed springs up and begins to beep. Joshua thinks it might signal location.

We are nearing the bridge but a bus is dropped in front of the car. Water begins to flow in front and Shane drives backwards, avoiding the items falling from above. Boats, shipping containers, cars. It's a giant magnet, sucking up metal and dropping it. A boat falls, taking out a train and Shane backs the car into a building. We get out of the car as it begins to float.

Cade and I grab Joshua as he float upwards with the seed. We begin to go up with him.

"I can't get my seatbelt off!" Shane calls. The car breaks through the roof, and after a moment, we all fall. I look up to see the car falling back down.

"Watch out!" I call, as I help them up and we run out of the building.

I see Bee on a Dinobot, a flying one. We run to where the bots are.

"Cade! (Y/N)! Autobots, get this bomb I've the bridge and out of the city!" Optimus speaks.

"Dad!" Tessa calls as she points to the ship flying above us.

We begin to run but one by one, the bots are pulled up by the magnet until Optimus shoots at it. They all fall back down to the ground, getting up quickly.

"Look, Optimus is out there all alone." Cade says as Bee transforms into vehicular mode.

"What? You can't help him." Tessa protests.

"I have to Tess. He came back for us."

"Dad, don't leave, please."

"Look, I'll find you. I'll get there, okay? You gotta stay with Shane. You're gonna be okay. You promise me you'll keep her safe. For the rest of her life, until the end of time! Promise me!" He grabs Shane's shirt collar.

"I promise you." A simple reply yet meaningful.

Cade says his goodbyes. "I'm coming."I say. "And it's not up for discussion."

Cade and I begin to run towards where Optimus went.
