2D x Reader Gorillaz OneShots

(This takes place during phase 2)

I decided to look through the closet of Kong Studios, it was all dusty and messy but I needed to pass the time during breaks on the album.

There was a lot of boxes scattered around the place but one caught my attention, it said 'Game Consoles' in big letters, it was in sharpie. I attempted to pick up the box and carry it into the living room, but it was quite heavy, suddenly it felt kind of lighter.

"Need some help?" It was 2D, he happened to see me struggling and decided to help, I was flattered but thankful he came to help. We both carried it to the living room.

"Thank you 2D! I didn't expect to see you helping me!" I said after we finished carrying it.

"Why wouldn't I want to help you? I like helping you out." He said.

We looked through the box and found the oldest Nintendo Console and the original Mario, since it was 2 player we decided to play the game together. I was kind of bad at it first but I got the hang of it, 2D however knew everything about the game, to say the least he was ahead of my level.

"Wow! You're really good at this!" I said.

"Thanks, I master everything about this game when I was about 9, I somehow still remember everything." He said.

"You little brager." I said in a joking tone. He laughed after I said that, seeing his smile made me feel better some.

After a while Murdoc came in the room, "Ah you guys are playing Mario! Can I play?" He asked.

"Sure!" I said.

He and 2D played for a little bit, Murdoc was definitely more of the sore loser type of player, him yelling at the TV was actually kind of funny.

He noticed me and 2D were laughing, "Quit laughing you idiots!" We just kept laughing, Finding this console was a smart idea.
