2D x Reader Gorillaz OneShots

(This takes place during phase 1)

Murdoc, Noodle and Russel were out of the house right now, so it was just me and 2D. He seemed to want to do his own thing so I let him, they've been gone for about 3 hours so I thought they'd come home soon.

I heard a knock at my bedroom door, I was about to get up and open it but they opened it before I could, it was 2D at the door, he had messy hair with a tank top and shorts on, he also had an alcohol bottle in his hand, I kept a mental note on that.

"Heya 2D, whatcha been doing for the past 3 hours?" I ask to see if he'd tell the truth.

"Hehe... oh nothing..." He said looking at me weird.

"Oh really?" I say as I get up to look in the trash can. There were 2 more bottles in the trash can. Yep, he's drunk alright, definitely.

"Haha! Tricked ya!" He yelled laughing. I've never seen him drunk before so this was a new experience for me.

"Why don't you lay down for a while?"

"Nah... I wanna talk to you love!" He says slurring. He takes another drink of the bottle he's had in his hand.

"You're interesting when you're drunk-" I say. I heard the phone go off, I go and answer it.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's Murdoc."

"Oh hey! How much longer are you 3 gonna be?" I ask.

"Maybe another hour."

"Oh dear lord..." I say.

2D grabs the phone, "Heya Murdoc!" He says slurring again.

I take the phone back, "Uh..." I tried saying something.

"What the hell was that? Was that 2D?" He asked weirded out.

"Yep... he's drunk. He drank like 3 bottles. How do I deal with him right now till you guys get back?"

"Just be calm and nice to him, if you say something threatening he'll try to attack you, if he's tired and he falls asleep don't leave the room. Just keep a close eye on him till we get back." He said, he seemed very experienced with all of this.

"Thank you so much, see you guys soon!" I hang up. 2D is still standing there, he smiles at me.

I go and sit on the couch, he stands there for another minute, "Are you alright 2D? Do you feel ok?" I ask calmly.

He walks over and lays on my lap, "I'm tired..." He drinks the last bit of the bottle he's had and puts it on the floor, he shuts his eyes after that, soon he started to snore softly. I was little tired myself, just looking at him made me tired, after 10 minutes I fell asleep.

3rd person pov

Murdoc, Russel and Noodle finally got home after another hour like he said, he unlocked the door with his key and opened the door, he saw Y/n and 2D asleep on the couch as soon as he turned on the lights.

"Oh right... forgot about that." He said.

"What do you mean?" Russel asked.

"When I called Y/n, she said 2D was drunk, so I told her what to do. I guess she did listen."

"Ā, sore wa totemo kawaīdesu!" (Aw, that's so cute!) Noodle said quietly.

Russel gets the bottle that 2D had finished earlier and threw it away so when they got up, it wouldn't hurt them.

"Let's leave these 2 lovebirds alone." Murdoc said, "They needed this."
