Darkened paths (Kipo and the age of wonderbeasts)

Shadow was on once more riding the flamingo, though watching where the burrow girl goes to see where the burrow was. Scarlemagne was using binoculars as they looked around the field of mega dogs.

As soon as the burrow girl had led them here he was uncontrollably hissing and growling, still was a matter of fact only this time no one could hear him.

He then noticed movement in the grass and his head shot towards that direction to see the burrow girl and her friends walking towards a hidden hatch.

He turned to Scarlemagne and tapped him on the shoulder. Who was originally confused but when he pointed to where he was looking for. He brought the binoculars up to his eyes and so them.

He smiled before saying, "Magnificent work."

"Thank you." One of the humming bombers said that was to their left.

"I was talking to me and Shadow." Scarlemagne pointed out. "Now, let's discuss the matter of what you're carrying in those fashionable bandoliers."

Scarlemagne then broke off into a maniacal laughter. Shadow sat there his face saying 'Really. Your celebrating now.'

Then more flamingos came each carrying a primate on them. Shadow could swear though that some of them were twins because they looked identical but didn't bother saying anything.

Skip to a few minutes later

Nectar bombs were dropped onto the ground blowing up large quantities of dirt and rocks. The ground shook. After a few moments  it all caved into the human burrow.

Crushing buildings and revealing the burrow. Allowing for the flamingos to dive in. After they had descended into the burrow they began grabbing all the humans in sight.

Shadow's eyes glancing over the ruined burrow looking for the burrow girl. To avail he saw her and two of her friends entering out into the open trying to fight back but something about the burrow girl was different.

For example the massive jaguar paw she had. Whilst she was fighting, she was throwing her paw around. Each impact more powerful than a regular mute.

Shadow looked at Scarlemagne before nodding down towards the fighting below. Scarlemagne paying no attention agreed to what he was doing though not asking what. He sighed before jumping off landing on all four paws in front of her. After she fought away the rest of the flamingos.

She was taken aback by seeing him there and more confused how he just fell out of the sky.

"It's you from when you saved me from those frogs the first time." Kipo was shocked. "Why are you working for Scarlemagne?!"

"Oh povera ragas. E in piacere rivederti, ma temp do non essere qui per salvation quests Volta." Shadow said having his fist at the ready. "Ora perche non combat terms." Meaning: 'Oh you poor girl. It's a pleasure to see you again but I'm afraid I'm not here to save you this time. Now why not fight me.'

Shadow was at a disadvantage but it didn't bother him. She glared at him before flaring her fist at him aimlessly. Each time she threw a punch he would duck or slip out of the way.

Though he began to notice how she didn't have any balance with every punch. He smiled before ducking down onto his knees. Using this time to kick his leg under her feet to make her fall back.

Doing as he had planned whilst she was getting back up he threw his fist at her knocking her back. She looked at him with anger once again doing the same tactic however Shadow didn't get so lucky. She easily punched him in the jaw making him fly backwards.
