Darkened paths (Kipo and the age of wonderbeasts)

Large amounts of pheromones were sprayed in the arena. Large pink cloud in the centre. The crowd still chanting the new emperor's name.

The humans coughed being suffocated by the pheromones. The cloud dispersed after several minutes.

"I really wish you hadn't of done that." Kipo muttered angrily.

"We'll, you're not in a position to make demands, are you? Let the games begin!"

The crowd cheered. Shadow's hat lowered on his face. His collar high and his cloak draped low and ended at the near end of his tail. Which Swayed to side. His expression unseeable and even if you could see it. It was unreadable as if he felt no emotion or every emotion.

The humans looked at one another confused at what to do.

"Chip chop. Get along. I command you to take up arms!" They still did nothing. "Why isn't it working?! Song, attack her!"

She didn't do such a thing but she crossed her arms before grunting. Oh. This has grown interesting.

He groaned, "What have you done?"

"Bum, bum, bum!"she grabbed the same water canister she had used to give her mother water. "The night I snuck in to see my mom... I called in a favour from a friend."

"Da-da-da!" A water mute cried as he emerged from the canister.

"When no one was looking, I poured Mulholland into your vat if pheromone. Boom! You can't control the humans! Or my mom! Dah, should've boomed at the end."

"Clever. Who knew my own sister had been planning this? I for sure didn't until a few moments ago that is." Shadow remarked.

Scarlemagne growled, "You think your parlor trick will ruin my day? This stops nothing!"

The rumble of Sing moving forward, "You sure about that Scarlemagne. I think our mother would like to discuss with you on that." Shadow pointed to Song behind him.

Scarlemagne turned around to see Song, "Huh?"

She grunted as he flicked him into the wall. Shadow smiled at this. Perfectly timed.

"Now, time for Operation Ave-say Umans-hay!" Kipo whispered. "Save the humans."

Song grunted as she turned around, grabbing a golden roof off a building. She placed it in the middle of the arena. The humans gasped at this. Song brung her hand down to them revealing: Benson, Wolf, Dave and Mandu Who jumped out saying, "Everyone, climb inside, now!"

"Does that thing really expect us to trust it after it destroyed our home?!" A human argued.

"Fine. You can stay here. But for everyone else that wants freedom, get in!"

They all looked at one another before going in. Kipo turned to their father talking to Mulholland.

"Snap him out of it, Mulholland!"

"Oh. Real quick, your mom wanted me to tell you that she loves you." Mulholland told Kipo and Shadow.

"Aww." Kipo replied.

"Wait, she actually talked to you? Do you think we can get her out of there?" Shadow asked.

"Oh... she's been a Mega Monkey for a long time, and it did a number on her. I think she's stuck." He said to them. Turning to Shadow more. "So you must be Kipo's twin brother. Correct?"

"Yes. I am and please call me Eclipse or Shadow I don't mind."

"Are you sure your want to go Mega you two?" Mulholland asked.
