It didn't take long for Gon and Killua to reach the 200th floor.

You were walking past the lobby when you came across the voices of both the boys and also one that sounded slightly familiar. Peering across the room from the end of the hallway, you watched Hisoka unleash his Nen on the best friends. Although you wanted to help them escape from the malicious aura, you knew that the magician was holding back.

A lot.

This lasted only a few short moments before Wing walked through the elevator and explained to Gon and Killua that if they were to continue walking through this energy "naked", they would certainly be walking along the edge of death. The blizzard analogy he used made lots of sense and seemed to get through to the boys. The three of them quickly left, and you decided to follow suit; but not before exchanging a few words with the fellow Nen user.

You stalked toward the place where he was sitting against the wall, playing with his cards. He noticed your presence but uttered nothing. A beat or two passed before you questioned him; "Why did you go easy on them?"

The corners of his mouth perked up ever so slightly as he continued shuffling his cards with his head down. "Two one-of-a-kind fruits of the same tree; it'd be a shame to waste their potential by killing them so early, wouldn't it?" He conceded, keeping his voice light and airy.

Hearing enough, you turned on your heel and padded through the hall, entering the elevator and exiting once it reached the lobby. You then headed for that same hotel you were at not long ago, assuming that the others ought to be there. Hisoka's words infiltrated your mind and you wondered how exactly he and the pair of boys met.

"Gon? Wing?" You opened the door and scanned the room, noticing that you interrupted a lesson. The instructor acknowledged you but got right back to teaching.

"I will begin your training by transmitting my aura in your direction." Wing extended his arm, reaching for the boys. 'He must be awakening their aura by force.' The conversation continued like this up until Killua asked Four-eyes why he decided to teach them the true Four Exercises. Wing sighed, scratching the back of his neck before answering. "You see, up there, everyone knows how to manipulate Nen."

"[Y/N], didn't you say you knew nothing of the real Nen?" Gon probed, an innocent look of confusion crossing his features. Before you could muster a reply, Wing announced that he asked both you and Zushi to remain silent on this topic. This seemed to satisfy Gon and his attention was back on the lesson.

Wing once again extends his arm and initiates Ten, and the duo began placing all of their belongings on a sofa, along with their jackets. They then faced away from Wing, who unleashed his Hatsu. At this moment, both you and Killua lock eyes; a flash of uncertainty passes through his face but seems to be put at bay once he sees your reassuring smile. Once his eyes break line of sight, you wonder why he looked at you out of everyone. Perhaps it was because he figured you've experienced this process before.

You haven't, but he didn't need to know that right now.

Your attention was drawn back to the situation at hand as you heard Gon and Killua's strangled cries. You felt a pang in your heart as you watched the scene in front of you unfold, the immense pressure was just weak enough for them to handle it; any stronger and they would probably have died or collapsed from the shock.

You watched as their aura started flowing out of their bodies, and Wing instructed them on how to contain it. Maybe a minute or two later, the boys had already achieved Ten. Everyone seemed to have a look of surprise on their face.

'They're amazing, it took me some time to realize how to control my aura.'

"Welcome to the 200th floor." The sound of cards cutting through the wall stopped and was replaced by Hisoka's velvety voice. "Seems I needn't bother with the traditional initiation." You listened to the rest of Gon and the magician's dialogue before the three of you walked to the receptionist and the boys admitted themselves into rooms.

The lady behind the counter desperately tried to interest the boys in what the Arena had to offer, but they both had one common goal in mind; to become stronger. A strand of hair fell out of place, and you tried blowing it back into place. Gon announced that he planned on registering for a fight as soon as possible, which attracted the attention of three men odd-looking men.

"You want something?" Killua inquired, a hint of hostility in his forceful voice. One of the men spoke up and countered by stating that he simply wanted to register for a fight. The same strand of hair fell out of place again, and you tried brushing it into place with your fingers.

"Gon, it seems these guys want to fight you." The silver-haired boy observed, taking in all of the snickering newcomers. This didn't seem to bother Gon, and he agreed to fight any of them. The strangest-looking man in red that seemed to possess no legs kept chuckling, and you instantly assumed that his 90-day deadline was probably nearing.

"Now, Mister Gon will be in room 2207, and Mister Killua in 2223." The receptionist's words seemed to break the tension in the air, and the boys took their keys and left with you by their side.

'At least now I actually know their room numbers.'

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed this chapter! I have a feeling this story is quite boring right now, but I have to set the scene before actually developing the relationships! Hopefully I'll be done with this in a chapter or two, because I keep having to rewatch the same scenes over and over again to copy the dialogues and follow the storyline (doesn't bother me, it just takes a whileeee) Anyways, until next time!
