The following day after your short exchange of words with Wing, you gathered in the small hotel room accompanied by the three boys in front of the instructor.

"Gon, Killua. Starting today you will be training alongside Zushi." Everyone's face seemed to light up; with the exception of that one pessimistic boy.

"If we're the only ones training, why do they have to be here too?" Killua's face twisted in disgust as his eyes trailed over you, his gaze lingering on your facial features. Wing cleared his throat before telling the silver-haired boy off; "I personally requested for their presence for you to see [Y/N] as a model."

Four-eyes' retort quieted him down, and he focused his attention on the lesson.

"[Y/N], would you demonstrate your Ren for the boys?" Your eyes fluttered open at the mention of your name, and you stood up from the sofa you had been lounging on. You quickly activated your Ren, causing the jaws of the three boys to fall open; and discourage Zushi, who demonstrated his only moments prior.

"Very good, and Gyo?" The Nen rushing out of you rapidly shifted into your eyes, and you kept it there before Wing signalled it was fine to stop.

"I'd like for you boys to practice Ren until yours is half the power of [Y/N]'s, and practice Gyo while you're at it."

"Osu!" The trio exclaimed in unison, and they began discussing training amongst each other. You, on the other hand, had no idea what you should do. Perhaps it was selfish of you, but you didn't want the two best friends to surpass you in strength or power. As the boys trickled out of the room, you approached Wing and voiced your question.

"There isn't much you can do at the moment, but I suggest you, too, enhance your Ren. Try holding an hour, and once you've done that, increase the time." The words he spoke had sense to them, and you thanked Wing before leaving.

'I'll head to my room and train. I'll time my Ren, then force myself to hold it for longer.'

You were walking outside, heading to the infamous Heaven's Arena, before you sensed a few presences nearby; all of them familiar to you.

One presence instantly disappeared, and it was the one most familiar. That could mean two things; the individual either activated Zetsu or lost consciousness. Either that or they died.

You immediately took off, heading for the auras. As you approached, you felt another in the distance. You paid no mind, continuing forward.

'Zushi!'

Before you stood Sadaso, and behind him was a passed-out Zushi on Riehlvelt's lap. There wasn't time for questions, so you dove for the urchin closest to you. Arms made of Nen reached for you, but you evaded the grabs. Staying close to the ground, you swept Sadaso's feet from under him, and he tumbled before stabilizing himself with his extended arms.

"What's she doing here?!" You heard from one of the men before you lashed out once again. You focused half of your Nen into your foot mid-kick, aiming for a certain part of the man before you. Sensing the threat about to reach him, he evaded by sacrificing his use of Ten. He leapt to the side, mimicking your Ko in effort to avoid your attack, but, unfortunately for him, that was what you hoped he would do.

On the same Ko-infused foot, you exploded forward; pushing the armless man into the brick wall. With him further from Zushi, you didn't have to restrain yourself out of worry that he'd get caught up in the crossfire. As soon as Sadaso's back reached the wall, his squinted eyes flew open. He coughed out blood as he dug deeper into the brick, and the bottom of your palm shot up, striking his nose; ultimately shattering it.

You launched a punch at his torso, hearing a satisfying crack as a rib or two snapped.

Sadaso's head hung, and his body slid down the wall. Taking this as your cue to face the wheelchair-confined Nen user, you shot toward him. He didn't put up a fight; instead, he handed the boy over to you while begging for you to spare him.

"[Y/N]," A soft-spoken voice whispered behind you. "You fought well."

You turned your body to meet Killua, his hands in his pockets and his face turned away in embarrassment. "Huh?" You thought your ears were lying to you, Killua definitely hated you. He always seemed disgusted by your presence, so why did he seem so genuine at this moment?

"You heard me, I don't need to repeat myself, idiot." He stammered, but his tone of voice remained sweet. You turned around and picked up Zushi, hiding the slightest smile tugging at the corners of your lips. You felt a hot feeling flood through your chest as soon his words echoed through your head once more.

"Let's go, the one in red, Gido, is still out and about."

"W-wait! We just wanted to fight you and Gon, Killua. Our deadlines are coming up, and if we don't fight soon..." Riehlvelt trailed off. You looked back at him only to see that he was desperately shaking his friend, who was only just stirring.

"Alright, fine. I'll fight, but you must swear to leave both Gon and me alone." Killua's eyes bore into the man seated in the wheelchair. "Do we have a deal?" Both Riehlvelt and the barely conscious Sadaso nodded their heads, and we all headed for the 200th-floor, where they register for battles.
