Chapter Eleven [A Hero Name]

"Nope, I'm sure your awake." You would say as you poked his cheek with a small smile formed on your lips. "I can't believe that we basically just got praised by Eraserhead. I'm not really dreaming, am I? Unless your just my demon lying to me?" Shinso joked.

"I'm sure I'm no demon... And I'm not lying. You're not dreaming. This is happening, Hitoshi." You laughed. "What are you gonna do (Y/N)? You have the choice to actually be in the hero course since you did so well in the Sports festival..." Shinso would slightly look down a bit as you both started to walk towards your class.

Shinso was honestly scared that you were gonna leave. Change classes and forget about him and Yuki, since you may end up making new friends. What scared him, even more, is that some class 1-A weirdo might end up stealing your heart.

A small sigh escaped your lips, glancing over at the lavender boy. "To be honest, I'm not so sure what I'm gonna do." You would say .as you sorta leaned against his side. "I don't want to leave you and Yuki. You are my best friends, I'd hate to leave you guys. Even though we can always hang out during lunch and after school. But still..." You softly sighed, your (E/C) eyes slowly gazing towards him.

"This was your dream too... I don't want to take your dream of being in the hero course and just rub it in your face. I think it should've been the other way around. Your are the one that deserves to be in the hero course. You work way harder than I do." You then looked down with a small frown. Shinso held onto your hand and gave you the sweetest smile.

"Don't say that (Y/N). You deserve to be in the hero course, just as much as I do. I want to share my dreams with you. And become heroes together." Shinso would say as he rubbed the back of his neck. "And besides... Eraserhead said that he would train me as well. So that means we would be training together either way. We should do this. It gives us a fighting chance. You should go"

You stopped in your tracks and thought about it. Shinso was right, it gave you both a fighting chance to become pro heroes. But you were afraid. You were afraid that you wouldn't be good enough to be part of class 1-A or even in the hero course in general. You only just recently discovered your new abilities for your quirk. You were pretty hesitant.

"What if I'm not good enough? What if I'm not good enough to be in the hero course? What if I'm not good enough to become a hero?" You quietly sighed with doubt lingering upon your face.

Shinso would look at you as if you just lost your head. He took a hold of your hand and pulled you towards him. You were quite surprised by the sudden action when he placed both of his hands on your shoulders and made you look at him. The lavender-haired boy had quite the look on his face. It was nothing but soft and stern at the same time.

"Listen here. You always gonna be good enough, you're always gonna be way better than being good enough. Because you know why? Because you're you. You always somehow push past your struggles and make it through. Just like you did at the Sports Festival! You are amazing (Y/N). Don't you forget that."

Shinso gave you such an encouraging smile. You were honestly pretty taken back by this sudden gesture. Your (E/C) eyes stared into his soft lavender ones. You couldn't help but know that he was right. For the most part. Shinso has always been right with these things. He's always been right when he speaks highly of you.

You held onto his hand and nodded. "Your right... But... I still don't want to leave you and Yuki." You say with a serious expression.

Shinso ended up smiling a little bit "We'll always hang out during lunch and after school you dope."

You rolled your eyes as you playfully nudged him "If I'm a dope, then you're a total dork... You dork" You chuckled.

"Hey, now your just pushing it."
