Wanda had no plan to destroy the world, she just wanted her children back. She wants her wife back. And who's to tell her no when the power to bring them back was within her reach. Wong watched in fear as four large monsters walked out of the shadows. He drew his sword, but Wanda simply flew on top of the throne.

This was hers. The dark hold was hers. Everything was within her control. The monsters bowed, and Wanda tilted her head in greeting.

"This is wrong, Wanda! Why are you doing this?" Wong's desperate voice made its way to deaf ears. Wanda looked down at him, a crazy look in her eyes. "You can't control everything!"

"But you see, I can. If I have her power, I'll have the multiverse within my reach. And what if one of the twins get hurt and there's somewhere in the multiverse that holds the cure?" Wanda questioned, her eyes scanning the runes around them. "Look around you, right here is where I'll find everything that I could possibly need."

Wong made his way forward, and Wanda shook her head at the monsters guarding him. Let him speak. "What about the other Wanda? You can make them love you!"

"The other Wanda can go fuck herself, they will love me," there was a glint in Wanda's eyes. A far away look. There was something nagging her in the back of her mind. She tried to force it down. No. A quiet gasped left her lips, and an unbearable pain filled her head. She mastered up enough strength to glare at Wong, gesturing towards the cliff.

The monsters were hers to command.

He fell. And she screamed.

Burning red energy surrounded her head and no matter what she did, she couldn't push that part of her mind away. Look at the monsters you become. How can anyone ever love you? "They will," Wanda whimpered, her hands covering her ears, hoping to drown the voice out.

You've locked your true self so deep away that the Scarlet Witch took over... yet you don't seem to notice anything. Wanda, Wanda, what would Y/n think when she sees you now?

"Shut up!"

Such a disappointment. You're not me. You're different now.

"I am you!" Wanda shouted, feeling everything around her spinning. She's still the same person she was years ago, she still was. She's still the person Y/n had fell in love with all those years ago. If Y/n loved her once, she would love her again in another universe. She promised till forever falls apart.

No you're not. One day you'll realize. And hopefully it wouldn't be too late.

Wanda screamed, an uncontrolled burst of energy covering the whole temple before all was quiet again. She was fine, fine. There was nothing to worry about. Everything was under control.

She's still the same Wanda that she was all those years ago, nothing's changed...

But you changed.

This was the last word she heard in her head before a wave of agony caused her to sink to her knees. Then nothing.

"Tell me, if you were given the chance, will you rather trap a town full of people for your children?" The Wanda in the simple clothes asked. Scarlet Witch growled, trying to lunge forward but restrained hold her back. Wanda circled her. "I have long made peace with the fact that they're unreachable."
