Everything was perfectly set up.

You had everything pictured down to the last detail. The roof of the old Avengers Compound, where you and Wanda would often escape to. Your mind was the only thing you knew was stronger than Wanda's. That's the only part of your power you were ever glad for.

There in front of you, stood your Wanda and... surprisingly, the Scarlet Witch.

"Y/n..." Wanda sounded so broken, and you didn't waste any time wrapping your arms around her once again. You knew there wasn't really anything you could say that would make her feel better. Scarlet Witch already said it. The only way for them to overcome the presence of the Darkhold was for them to accept the fact that they are one.

Scarlet Witch crossed her arms, and you pulled her down into your arms, earning a whine from Wanda and an eye-roll from the witch. Although you could see the small smile that threatened to break through her face.

"Thank goodness Wanda is no longer in my head," Scarlet Witch taunted.

Wanda glanced up with a glare. "What was that supposed to mean? I'm so tired of your endless nagging in my mind! You almost got us killed more than once!"

"it's not my fault that only I have the power to look through the Darkhold so I'm the only one affected by it!" Scarlet Witch exclaimed, and you glanced between the two of them, unsure of what you could do.

Wanda rolled her eyes, her arms crossed over her chest.

"You know what we have to do, Wanda, yet I don't know why you're stubbornly refusing to admit the fact that you're me. That we're the same person!" Scarlett witch exclaimed.

You did the only thing you knew what to do, running your hair through Scarlett Witch's hair, an action that calms both your old Wanda and the one in this new universe. She calmed down, her breath more even but her eyes still shooting daggers at Wanda.

"You two need to get over both of your heads and admit the fact that you will work better together," you sighed.

Wanda shook her head. "Please help us. You pulled us out here, didn't you? You could fight the Darkhold. I don't want to become her, I'm not her."

"We are one, Wanda. Which part of that do you not get?" Scarlet Witch rolled her eyes.

"The part where you said we are one. We are not one. We are different. We're as different as it could ever be-"

Another sigh escaped your lips. This was getting more complicated than you wanted it to be. You know that Wanda is the Wanda you had first fallen in love with and the Scarlet Witch was also part of Wanda that was never awoken until later on. The Scarlet Witch chooses Wanda in your old universe, but Wanda doesn't want her in her head.

That definitely complicated things.

You don't even know how long you can hold this mental conversation. You don't know what's happening with the Wanda you're with now after you pulled Scarlet Witch's presence out of her mind, but you hope she was okay.

You stared at Wanda and Scarlet Witch arguing in front of you, the words more heated by the moment and you could see the way the Darkhold seems to try to fight Scarlet Witch, trying to get into her head once more.

"I don't know what's with you!" Scarlet Witch exclaimed. "You know together we have the power to fight the goddamn book, yet you're being so goddamn stubborn!"

"I NEVER WANT TO HURT ANYONE!" Wanda shouted. Tears streaming down her face. You reached forward, ignoring how Scarlet Witch took a step away from Wanda. Wanda didn't hesitate to fall back into your arms once again, hiding her face in your neck. "I'm not a monster..."

You pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead. "You're not a monster, Wanda. You're you, and I know you think this isn't it, and you don't want to be someone that kills, but you have to remember it's the Darkhold doing it. It isn't Scarlet Witch's fault. Just accept her, the two of you are stronger together. You'll still be my Wanda if you accept her."

"But I..."

"Wanda..." You gave her a look, and she let out a sigh before standing up, slowly approaching Scarlet Witch with an unreadable look in her eyes.

"I still hate you," she grumbled. And Scarlet Witch laughed, and you watched as Wanda took her outstretched hands.

But before anything could happen, a dark mist seems to surround the place, and your eyes widened when you suddenly feel the throbbing pain in your head, causing you to collapse on the ground.

Wanda quickly ran over, breaking whatever bonding they were doing. "Y/N!"

"You have to figure this out," you mutter weakly, knowing that there's no way you'll survive the presence of the Darkhold in your mind. You suddenly brought Wanda closer and kissed her, putting all your thoughts and love into it. Before you gave Wanda a chance to react, you gave her a sad smile before using your power and pushing both Wanda and Scarlet Witch out of your mind.

When you woke up once again, you were met with worried emerald green eyes.
