HOW DID everything turn out like this? Noong bago pa lang ako sa mundong ito, 'di ba sabi ko bibigyan ko ng normal ng buhay si Morgana? Then tell me, normal lang bang maglakad sa hallway kasama ng isang "Celestial King"? Err, ang corny talaga ng nicknames nila. No matter how much how I say it, I'd still cringe everytime.

"Any particular place you'd like to go, Meatball?"

Imagine the fan girls flocking around us, throwing me their monstrous glare and probably slaughtering me in their minds. To be fair, I did everything I could do to avoid being with this guy today. Pero hindi nakiki-cooperate ang mundo sa 'kin. After kong ibigay ang kahon kay VP, she told me that I should take a break and focus on practicing for the play later. Her kindness had the terrible timing.

"I'd like to go back," sagot ko.

"No can do."

I suddenly became irritated. "What do you need from me anyways?"

"Simply your presence," he replied with a sly smile. Imbes na nagpa-practice ako para sa play, he stole my time and took me for a stroll around the campus. Kesho pwede naman daw ako magkodigo.

"Okay, then isang oras lang ang ibibigay ko sa 'yo," sabi ko at tumingin sa wall clock na nadaanan namin. It's already 12:45 PM . . . and the play will start at exactly 3:30. I could only tolerance Felix's scheme for one hour.

"It's gonna be the best one hour of your life." He craned his neck to me, still grinning from ear to ear like a criminal mastermind. I don't understand him at all.

That smile . . . is the kind of smile that doesn't want others to know what he's thinking. The smile that covers the moon behind the clouds. A smile mostly used by schemers.

"Bakit mo kailangan ang presensya ko?"

"I want to enjoy."

Huh?

Bago pa ako makasagot, kinuha niya ang aking pulsuhan at saka hinatak ako papalabas ng building na ito tungo sa school grounds kung saan nagkalat ang mga iba't-ibang booths at stalls na hindi pwede sa classroom nila.

"First—"

"Stop!" Ipinako ko ang mga paa ko sa lupa dahilan para tumigil din siya. Binawi ko ang aking pulsuhan at huminga nang malalim. "Ano ba talagang gusto mo sa 'kin, ha?!"

Kailangan kong sumigaw para marinig niya ako dahil ang ingay ng mga tao sa paligid namin.
