She looked at me hesitantly. "And... why, exactly, do you want her here?"
"Well, let's just say I've got some business with her."
As much as I want to kick her around for doing dumb shit in the original novel, I can't. We'll just have to hold back on that.
"Well, I'm not sure why you're asking me of this, but I believe both Elven and Dwarven integration at Xyrus was discussed by the Council."
I'm aware of that, yes.
"So it should be possible for you. I've been told by an... outside connection, that you've got some pretty deep ties with the Eralith royal family."
I stood up as night had finally fallen and it was about time to pick up the Twins.
"Thanks again."

"So, here's what I was thinking, Cynthia." I laid out a fairly large parchment I wrote all over, listed with my ideas and details.
"One can see the Student Council as the shields of the academy, they're purpose is to uphold order." I pointed at the shield icon I designed at the far right portion.
"So I was hoping to make the swords," I continued as I pointed to the dagger I designed right next to the shield.
"And what will these 'swords' be called?" She asked as she analyzed my paper.
I smiled, remembering the name it was given in the original novel. "The Disciplinary Committee."
"Okay. And what of these other things you have set up?"
"Well, this right here is..."

"This is a wonderful idea, Kuro," Cynthia commented as she chuckled in sheer amazement.
"Thanks. This only works here because of the sheer number of students in the academy. How many do we have here, actually?"
She thought for a moment before responding. "I believe we're just shy of two thousand students."
"Woah, that's a lot. Maybe it'd be better to spread out rankings, then. Maybe, seven levels?" I wondered as I thought about it.
"Well, let's save that conversation for next year, shall we? I'm sure you've got quite the bit of explaining to do."

"Mary," I greeted as I entered the training hall.
"Good morning, Kuro," she returned.
"Boys, I'm here," I called out as I opened the doors.
I entered my training room as I searched around for them. Just as I turned to look over to my right, I instinctively rolled my head back as I felt a flame pass over my neck.
"What the..!" I looked up to see Castor and Cyrus sparring. Or was it fighting? I thought otherwise when I took a glance with God's Eye.
No, they're fighting. But for some reason, it seems like Castor's suppressing Cyrus.
"Castor!" I shouted at him. "What the hell's going on here?"
"Mr. Kuro!" Was all he could manage through Cyrus' assault. As he blocked a sword strengthened with mana, he used Thunderclap Impulse to retreat to my side.
He dropped to his knee, the only thing supporting him being his half broken sword. This was the first time I'd seen him so worn out from a fight.
"What's going on here, Castor." I pulled a sword from my dimensional storage.
