(F/n): Help Rose
Ever since Rose, John and Jade came over you have started to build a relationship with Rose. You two were beginning to turn into friends. You liked her and thought she was really nice and helpful so you decided to return the favor. You let her sleep over with you in your room. John and Jade had gotten a hotel room for the next few days until Christmas and offered to let her stay with them but she took up your offer instead. You were helping her set up her things for the next few days. It's Christmas break so your not going to be having class for the next week or two. You began to unpack some cloth from Lalonde's suit case. "Ah, no need to begin unpacking, I appreciate your assistance but I can do that much on my own. Thank you for allowing me to stay over on such short notice." Rose said. "No problem." You replied, "it's nice to have a girl here every once in a while." Yeah, you thought to yourself. All this time and you had only shared this dorm with Dave. Luckily nothing strange has happened between you and the boy but having female company was nice every now and then. It was like a sleep over. You haven't had one of those in a while so you knew it would be fun.

It had been two days since Rose came over, including John and Jade, so you and Rose were pretty close by now, talking every day. At night she would go over to Dave's room because she said she was working on a project with him. You weren't quite sure what it was specifically about but you didn't want to poke into someone else's business. Though, you also wondered what was getting Dave pretty upset, you've heard a few curses here and there every night when the siblings were working on the project. Today was the same as one of those nights but instead you went out to the kitchen to get a drink. As you made your way to the small kitchen you saw someone that seemed to be sleeping on the white leather couch. It was Rose. You saw her sleeping soundly so you decided not to wake her but instead went and grabbed a blanket and put it on her. As you were going to make your way back to your room you saw something. A small peek of light that looked like it was coming from Dave's room. You really didn't want to but your curiosity got the best of you and you looked. You saw your dear blonde asleep on bed with something in his hands. He looked to have fallen right asleep, noting he hadn't changed to pajamas and didn't even take his shades off. But he was smiling. He had a scarf in his hands. "A scarf?" You wondered. "A purple scarf!" Now why would this Strider be carrying a purple scarf on him? There were knitting needles on his counter. "Why indeed..." You asked yourself.

Yet again another past memory. Young Rose was there this time and she had knitting supplies on her. She looked happy. She probably enjoyed knitting. You have been getting these memories lately and you want to know why. You want to know what it is. You want to know everything.
(f/n): remembering something else in present time
You finally remembered. Two more days until Christmas, and your going to buy something for your new friends. The next day you woke up to Rose and Dave sitting at the kitchen table eating breakfast. It was a plate of eggs and bacon. "Good morning." The two said. You yawned and answered back, "Morning." You sat down rubbing your eyes and said, "Hey guys, wanna go shopping?"
